Well, any decent Hoster will still have PHP v.7.x available for quite a long time, so, I would not worry about this ...you never know when your hosting provider stop supporting PHP 5 or 7

Well, I don't think that it takes some hacking attempts, this Site is hopelessly overloaded with everything available, to slow down Pageloads. Just check the Sitetester engines, to find out, why they all mark this site with poor performance Results.
