Re: Error in the administration to add images

It is a limitation of the GD library. You must keep your original image size below about 500kb for the opencart built in image resizing to work for you.

Re: Adding sizing to Products.

Have a look at Options in the Catalog menu of your store administration. There is a size example there that will give you a good start.

Re: Featured Products

Hi Tony, You just need to modify your template files for the latest/featured/specials to remove the table markup and use a div based markup similar to what follows.     <div class=products>     <A       href="http://music-saved-my-life.com/index.php?controller=product&product_id=420"><...

Re: extension subtotal shipping

Hi Gayle, This shipping extension was written for opencart 0.7.7 so my first question is what version of opencart are you using? Secondly, did you upload the revised version of subtotal shipping from the contributions section? The original had a flaw in the directory structure of the release. Finall...

Re: [RESOLVED] error after paypal payment (language not english)

There is probably a better way to do it in the paypal module so that this isn't an issue.. I'll think about it There is. I have attached it to this post. Have a look at the admin part which uses dropdowns to select the status values. They end up associated with the actual order status ID instead of...

Re: Cart Messes Up in IE 7.0 and FireFox

You have the same problem in safari and opera. According to the page source, I think you have turned off the image resizing option in your store administration. You need to ensure that the div containers you are using for each product are large enough to contain the image and subsequent content (tit...

Re: Drop Down Menu for Choosing a Price

You might have some success using product options as the "type" values. The price can be increased when a product option is selected.

Re: Hide products already in cart?

Ok, for the category controller... add the following to the top of the index() function along with the other similar declarations. $cart      =& $this->locator->get('cart'); under the product results line put the following. Note that I have replaced unrelated code elements with ... $results = .....

Re: Big Gap on Homepage, Product Listings etc

This problem looks like a css padding/margin problem that usually only shows up only with IE6 when the content in the left column exceeds the width of it's container. Notice how the gap finishes exactly below the content in the left column. When I did experience this though, it could be reproduced e...

Re: Hide products already in cart?

It is possible but not as a store configuration option. You will have to change some of the code. On each of the controllers that get product data to display on a page, you will have to remove any items that have been selected in the shopping cart ( $cart->getProducts() ) from the $results array ret...
