Re: Australian tax invoice requirements

HI Johnathan,
I've purchased and configured it on my localhost and it looks like this is the solution. Could you display or send me the edit you mentioned that disables adding or subtracting the figure to the total. I'm a very happy camper.
Cheers
Michael

Re: Australian tax invoice requirements

I should also add that adding a line "Ïncludes GST" is a temporary workaround to get me up and running as soon as I can. My preferred output on an invoice would be: A Book Title 100.00 Another Book 50.00 -------------- Total 150.00 Includes GST 13.65 If anyone can inform me of a mod that d...

Re: Australian tax invoice requirements

Hi Jonathon, I actually went back to the Tax Office website and believe I can just add the line "Price includes GST" on the tax invoice (as long as there are no tax exempt items on the order). If only I'd read this six months ago :-[ Thanks for the information about your mod though - It mi...

Australian tax invoice requirements

Hello,
Can any Aussie shop owners recommend a paid or free mod that configures the tax invoice to ATO requirements and is suitable for the latest Opencart release? Setting it up is confusing the hell out of me.
Cheers
Michael

Re: ISBN requires 13 characters, not 12

Just curious why you would use the isbn in the UPC field, rather than model number.

Re: Search Help!

To find an exact match for the keywords. Commonsense, it would appear. Alas, no open source cart I've looked seems to do it by default. We have 120,000 records on our databse at work (bookshop). If I type in Jones + Ancient + History the last place I want my customer to find Jones' History of the An...

Re: OC as Book Store

P.S. here is what I acheived through the Cubecart mods and what I hope to replicate with Opencart.

Re: OC as Book Store

Alas, ALL carts are seriously underwhelming for booksellers. The assumption seems to be that the product description field is all you need for searching. I got Cubecart 3 up and running with extra product fields and ability to search by ISBN, Title or Author from the search box for about $210-230 AU...

Re: sell books on OC

Why not give Cubecart a try? There's a good, cheap bookshop specific mod there for versions 3 & 4.

Re: Import/Export Module: Default Values

So you're saying all three time stamps have to have a value?

Import/Export Module: Default Values

Hi! Can't quite get the hang of this module. Do I need to fill in the Date/time stamp for the date added / modified / available fields? As NOW() or a made up time? Not having much luck. Keep on getting is error message: Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds t...

Search Box Module 1.3.4

HI,
Previous versions seem to imply that the option to search product descriptions via the check box is available from the home page; when I installed the 1.3.4 update there's no check box. Have I done something wrong; or is this a different mod?
Cheers
Michael

Re: Professional Templates... where?

My first post. I was quite amazed at the default theme for Opencart (compared to Cubecart, OSC, etc). Very simple; good layout and nice homogenous feel. It's a great starter theme! Could use it immediately (if I was going live). I'd take a "css hack" anyday from someone who really knows ho...
