No once payment is recieved you can assign correct order status to order and customercan download immidiatly. i don't know what "assign correct order status" means... I've never used opencart before, but what you wrote above makes me think i must manually do something to complete the order process?...

the more i look into this the more i'm convinced it would not be possible. Salesvu is like a software middleman to a merchant account. So I don't think an opencart extension for a piece of software like salesvu would be possible.
