Re: SEO Urls

Oh man, you're embarrassing yourself. In terms of resolving to the correct Product, christopherdarling is correct - Everything except the last URI segment is ignored (I.e, everything except the Product SEO Keyword). The parts before that have absolutley no affect other than they are there for Googl...

Re: OpenCart v1.4.4

I think the next major version release should undo alot of mistakes. Remove features that are only valuable to a small percentage of the community (i.e, Multi Store), and instead make them modules you can choose to install. Strip it down to the core, a stable core - and implement some form of plugin...

Re: [1.4.2] Removed the url class? Anymore unnecessary changes?

Can someone tell me the underlying logic behind changing Nope. Apparently the url class was stupid, because no other project uses a smiliar class. Having one function for routing URL's thorugh is the logical option, What if someone wanted some custom functionality, perform some form of action on UR...

Re: OpenCart Logo - My 2 Cents

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in, about the OpenCart logo. I liked the previous one. This one just doesn't do it for me. Personally, I agree - I prefer the original, The only way the one above will work if the site is re-designed to compliment the logo, The reds certainly do not go with the greens ...

Out of all the current entries on that site, I still prefer the existing logo.

Re: Yet another issue with bl**dy Paypal

Do you have many people creating accounts but never placing an order? As if you have so many missing orders (According to PayPal) then surely you will have potentially loads of accounts that have been created but no order placed, generally someone will only create an account if they intend on placin...

Re: New Idea! No more static fields. Dynamic fields

This would work well in conjunction with a Codeigniter style Validation Class. Currently OpenCart (Suprisingly) doesn't seem to have any validation class, it is all done manually. It would also be easy to integrate into OpenCart something similar as i've built a class using the same logic into one o...

Image Upload Validation

I guess this is not technically a bug since the website works fine as it is, maybe it should be considered as a feature request? Maybe.. Anyhow - I have come across some issues with Clients uploading product images that are too large, For example some of them are not very technically minded and will...

'ZIP' => preg_replace("/\s/", "", $order_info['payment_postcode']),
is this not the right code then?

many thanks
It will work but it is suggested (For performance) to use the following

Code: Select all

'ZIP'       => str_replace(' ', '', $order_info['payment_postcode']),

Re: Maestro - Paypal Pro - 3d Secure

Daniel - I have the Centinal Commerce osCommerce module that they sent me for one of my other stores. Would this be of any help to you? Doesn't have all the junk from the sample code (Which is a joke...already took a look at it).

Re: [Release] HTML Order Emails

I have a problem where this mail gets screwed up in Outlook 2003 but works everywhere else. Did anyone figure out the Outlook Issues with this? Re: Maestro - Paypal Pro - 3d Secure

Hi Daniel,

Today is the cut-off point for the 3D Secure, I beleive that after today Maestro Payments will no longer be accepted without the functionality. Will this be included in the next update?

Thanks.

Re: error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exceeded

This may have been caused when you have uploaded a huge photo for a product and when the server tries to reszie it, it has ran out of memory. Connect to your FTP, go to your images folder, sort by file size and see if there any huge images in there, If so - resize them to make them a smaller size to...

Re: can i delete the contents of my /image/cache/ folder?

You can, but why would you? When you add a new product it uploads the product image to the /image/ folder - Now when you browser your site, you notice how you have different size variations of the same image, such as a smaller one for the category listing etc. These are all created using your initia...
