Re: 3.0.3.1 with Journal template, very slow

As was suggested in this forum thread, try to install a plain OpenCart 3.0.3.2 server (use 3.0.3.2 rather than 3.0.3.1 because it has bugfixes!) and then test it out, to see whether it still has the performance issues. If it doesn't, then you know that it is not an issue with the webhost. The next s...

Re: Mobile blank page

You are using one of the most cumbersome web themes. In general, if you get a blank page, it could be because of an Internal Server 500 error. Ask your webhost to give you a copy of the Apache server's error.log, for the exact time when you got the blank pages.

Re: Elavon Payment Gateway Plugin

If it is for the Elavon payment gateway, and not the Elavon Converge, then any RealEx / GlobalPayments should do just fine. Elavon's technical support recommends this one for OpenCart 3.x.

Re: admin/controller/catalog/product.php & Error No: 1054

You are not providing enough details for anybody to help you.
E.g. what is your OC version? Any 3rd party extensions installed? Exact steps to reproduce this error?

Re: Integrating FancyBox on page within Journal 3 / OC 3.x

Dynamic Blocks feature that allows one to add HTML to any page
OpenCart3 already has this, too, no need to use Journal3 for this feature.

Anyway, Journal3 is not free, neither is it well implemented, therefore any changes to it would be a commercial request.

Re: Linux OS for a new user

Will it be difficult to use and understand Linux? Will Linux be faster than Winodows 10? Thank You can easily create bootable ISO-images on DVDs or USB-sticks and then boot up a distro like Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora etc , to see how it works. In particular make sure it recognizes all your hardware...

Re: Undefined index: payment_address. Looking for help!

It would be good if the OP had provided some more details, such as OC version used, what extensions are installed, and the exact steps on how to reproduce this error. Also, using the Journal2 theme always is risky because of its poor implementation. Perhaps test it with the default theme temporarily...

Re: Product Variations Image Not Changing

Hi Not sure what you mean by post on commercial Well, if the issue is with Journal3, and not with the default OpenCart theme, then bear in mind that Journal3 is a 3rd party commercial extension (and a poorly written one IMHO). So your best chance would then be to get some help from the authors of J...

Re: product.twig not showing my custom javascript

Your original posting is confusing.

Can you rephrase your problem description so others can understand the issue? And perhaps care to provide some more details, such as OC version used, extensions used, URLs etc.

Re: Website issue

Yours is a wordpress site. This is an OpenCart forum!

Anyway, try to use fonts available for all systems, or use Google's awesome fonts.

Re: Journal3 theme redis enable

This is not an OpenCart issue as such, but the problem most likely is with Journal3. This web theme will clash with many other 3rd party extensions because it doesn't abide by the OpenCart standards, see this forum thread . Your best option is to get in touch with the authors of Journal3 and ask the...

Re: Product page is not seems correct in French language

I can confirm it's the Dutch language where this problem occurs, see screenshot. It will be difficult to help you because you are using the Journal2 theme, one of the most problematic themes out there. It's probably not an OpenCart issue as such, you can verify it by temporarily switching to the def...

Re: Mint Leaf - Free Responsive OpenCart Theme For Groceries

The theme looks nice, well done. However, you should have used an event handler, or OCmod, for modifying the core file 'catalog/controller/common/menu.php' to insert the additional variables. Or better, the logo could have simply be re-positioned via CSS. Also, you shouldn't modify the 'common.js', ...

Re: [RELEASED] Multilingual Export/Import for OpenCart 2.x / 3.x

Your admin backend language must be also one of the supported frontend languages as you correctly stated. You could modify the frontend language selector in the 'common/language.tpl' file to exclude the admin language from the selector.

Re: Region / State sometimes shows as MY ADMIN locations, not the customers

You are using one of the worst web themes, which clashes with many other 3rd party extensions.

Your 2 choices are:
1) Ask the author of Journal to fix it
2) Test it with the OpenCart default theme
