PHP 7.2 troubleshooting error logs

Hi folks, Does anyone know of changes needed to run v2.2.0.0. with PHP 7.2 or even 7.3? Realise that mcrypt is depreciated in 7.2 and encryption.php needs to be changed. https://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=181&t=199924#p728423 The template.php file in /system gave me error warnings, too. Re: ERROR - Notice: SessionHandler::gc(): ps_files_cleanup_dir: opendir(/tmp/.priv) failed: Permission denied (13)

Unless you are running a root server, where you can repair permissions yourself, you should contact your hosting provider and ask them to repair permissions in local_host ../tmp/.priv

This solved my error: ps_files_cleanup_dir: opendir(/tmp/.priv) failed: Permission denied (13)

HTH.

Where does OC gets currency values?

I had to disable all currencies but default in OC 2.2.0.0. because my site sent a form request in http "The page at https://www.xxx.com/ contains a form which targets an insecure URL http://www.xxx.com/common/currency/currency. " So I was wondering where do the exchange rates for currencies come from?

Re: HTTPS Warning. Currency form pointing to insecure HTTP

Okay, have an inkling the exchange rates for currencies coming from an non secure server, because even changing the form will not resolve my issue.

The only other thing I can think of, is stopping this request and disabling all other currencies but default.

I get that error when I try to add product to cart on your site as well. Have you checked your .htaccess file? this is where that error comes from mainly.
