The redirect to Homepage does work nicely with 1.5.6 I wasn't using a URL, I was actually navigating to the template file.

You need to download & install VQMod, then uploade the xml file to this location /vqmod/xml This works with OpenCart 1.5.6 Thanks for sharing. It's just what I need.... although for me, the mod to redirect seems to download the tpl file instead of redirecting to the homepage. Maybe thats a 1.5.6...
