Opencart is a software package that is easy to understand and I can't remember when I encountered a bug..so in that sense it's great. With "basic", I mean without extensions....e.g. for catalogus mode, one has to order an extension.

If you delete a product you are not asked if you want to delete the linked images. Actually no image linked to a product will be deleted after a product removal .
