Re: Welcome module fonts and size

Thx Cleo, nice change to know.

Actually found out I had the full one laying around by incidence from an extension module, so I went for that one straight ahead.

Re: Need tester for performance tweaks

Tried this on OC v.1.5.5.1 and used the vQmod Log_Analyze_DB_Queries for testing. I do use the vQmod already made to prevent the total product count error. I have performance issues propably related to catalog/model/catalog/product.php getProducts($data = array()) This SQL is runned a lot of times o...

Re: Welcome module fonts and size

ahh, figured it out. Rename icon.png into icon.pnp.old then rename icon.png.bak into icon.png Should be renamed to icons.png :) Just a small syntaxtix error. And to partly answer my second question, icons.png contains the alignement icons that can be found in the full ckeditor for alignement, but it...

Re: Welcome module fonts and size

Just tried this and it looks like the icon.png fix i is not working as intended. Flushing browser and vQmod cache, didn't solve it. I do get the two missing buttons, but they have no icon, let's call them A (Text color) and A (Backgroundcolor). I will check to see, if I can figure that out :) , also...

Re: Is E-mail protection needed (Email harvesting)?

Actually I did a 'mailto' search just to see, if there should be anything making me suspicious and I only found it in a couple of .js files. So as Qphoria mentions the pure OC doesn't contain any open adresses, so unless someone screws it up, like building a vQmod or sth, that presents the e-mail ad...

Is E-mail protection needed (Email harvesting)?

Tried to search these forums for any concerns about Email harvesting, but nothing came up. Does anyone have any experience or explanation to whether, it is needed to wrap the email adresses presented in OC? The reason I'm asking is because, I have recently recieved a maintenance job on some excistin...

Re: Need help single language module(Solved)

I can see the problem is solved, so I'll just give you this for inspiration. This is adding new text from a vQMod, but can easy be modified to replace existing text as well. <!-- Add reuseable strings for languages --> <file name="system/startup.php"> <operation info="Add localization strings"> <sea...

Re: Need help for single language module and bilingual site

Okay, then you will need to setup the english language as well and activate both french and english on our site. I guess you already have the standard english language files laying around as they come as a part of the standard installation pack. I can provide a sample tomorrow showing how a vQmod us...

Re: Creating A Multi-Store??

You can use cPanel or sth else, to setup the Apache webserver to react on calls from your newly created subdomian and redirect them to our proper store folder. If you have created a multi-store as your thread suggest, it will just point to the same folder as store #1. Multi store uses the same DB fo...

Re: Need help for one language module for bilingual site

Try to go the extension site of Open Cart, find a free language extension, download and follow instructions there, so you get a feeling about how it works. You need to set the french language through the admin panel, where you propably already will find your english language settings. One of these s...

Re: Creating A Multi-Store??

cPanel is an web based admin tool placed above the Apache webserver to make it easier to configure the server related stuff like subdomain(s). I use Webmin, but I guess it does the same stuff. Your web host does probably host several sites on the same server, so maybe they can't just allow you to do...

Re: Create User Groups for Specific Store (Multi Store Setup

I've recently installed a multi store setup and is right now testing it to discover what the buy offs are. I discovered that the admin panel don't support creating shop dependant users only allowed to see, what concerns a single shop, but is allowed to see all orders coming from other shops too. So,...
