Re: Stock levels are not updated

Ok, I have tested it again and it appears that Payson do works! My bad apparently.

Paypal still causes problems and yet the payment is sent to me.

Re: Stock levels are not updated

Yes, that is correct. (but I will download it again and try it again, just to reduce the risk for mistakes)

Another thing. It appears that the payments goes through as expected from both Payson and Paypal.

Re: Stock levels are not updated

After the payment I get the page saying (I can't remember the correct words in English, because I have localized OC to Swedish and I am using that) "Thank you for your order. bla bla bla".

I downloaded it again just a few days ago (same user name at your site).

Re: Stock levels are not updated

Q: You are absolutely right! It works with COD, but neither with Payson nor Paypal. Strange, but it worked for both Payson and Paypal before the upgrade. (I think I bought the Payson module from you... :) ) Any hints on where I should go and look for a solution? I am thinking of the order statuses. ...

Just to clarify: the selection "Stock Subtract" seems not to have any effect.

Stock levels are not updated

Yesterday I upgraded from 1.3.2 to 1.3.4.

Creating an order on 1.3.2 updated the stock properly, but after upgrading to 1.3.4 this doesn't work any more.

Anyone else with similar experiences and possibly a work around?

Re: problem with foreign languages

I agree (I am from Sweden too). It appears that texts shown on the web pages needs to be separated from those sent out in mails.

I am using 1.3.4.

Re: Mail/Smtp

The SMTP code in e107 (http://e107.org) works perfectly. Maybe that could be a "fast" path ahead to copy and adjust to OpenCart...

I am having a look at the e107 code right now and I can conclude that they have got their code from phpBB. :)

Re: Mail/Smtp

yuo should not need to use SMTP on paid hosting. Maybe there can be such opinions, but the fact remains. In fact I actually see SMTP as the more "professional" way of treating the mail handling, SMTP keeps me in control, if I use the other option I let others have the control I should hav...

Re: Mail/Smtp

I tried the same thing at another supplier and yes, it works - kind of. Due to that they need to handle several different customers, they need to set "Sender" to my web account name which is no the same as the mail address I prefer to use for my webshop, they also supply a "Reply-to&q...

Thanks Daniel, but I tried that piece of code before I made the posting. It doesn't work for my hosting company that uses port 587 for SMTP. The bug/problem remains. I posted a new fixed version somewhere here it is again: . . . why don't you use the standard mail function? you only need smtp if th...

Re: Mail/Smtp

Hi again,

I am not using Google mail for SMTP, I use my ISP. They have set port 587 for some reason. No other port works at them. I have set up OpenCart to use port 587 and it doesn't work.

Something appears not to be localized

I am creating a completely new translation/localization for OpenCart and I seem to have found a string that is not localizable. On the other hand I can't find the string at all when I search for it in all files under Windows. (creating the localization is quite time consuming so I can't say for sure...
