I read all the speeches about proper versioning and the "one man show" etc., but i am currently have no satisfying answer why the url-class was removed!

@LastBoyScout genau für solche sicherheitsrelevanten Dinge ist ja eine API gemacht! Die Authentifizierung kann per öffentlichem und privatem Schlüssel ohne Probleme realisiert werden. Hallo zusammen, ich denke man sollte dies als "Web-Service" in OpenCart einbinden wie dies auch bei Magento ist. Meiner Meinung nach sollte jeder OpenCart-Shop dann als XML-Server dienen, der Anfragen beantwortet. Vorzustellen ist dies wie eine API an Ebay oder Amazon mit der Daten ausgele...

Hi musterion, that is exactly what i am searching for, too. Compared with Magento, OpenCart is a juwel with clear borders and a clean structure. One of the main things Magento differs from nearly all other shopping software is the ability for the customer to filter his search by the product options....
