Re: OpenCart 1.5.2 Released

Followed the directions in the upgrade.txt (or so I thought) to upgrade from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 and it ended up wiping my database. (Installing it like a new install.)

I hit the upgrade button in the end...

What did I do wrong?!!!

Re: Product description missing in admin

Oh man, thank you so much for this answer.

It was driving me CRAZY.

I just turned off the "page speed" beta and now I'll see how it goes.

Thanks much!

Re: Adjusted gzip settings: Admin now not loading

So, I found the problem. While the moving to the latest version of php didn't work, I eventually figured out that the error log was showing some errors that some malicious code had running on my site. Basically, a string like this was in the top line of every piece of php in the root: <?php /**/ eva...

Re: Adjusted gzip settings: Admin now not loading

They're using PHP5.2 CGI.

I have the option of doing 5.3 as well.

Re: Adjusted gzip settings: Admin now not loading

No, this error was there before. It's *why* I enabled the gzip settings in the first place.

I cleared the errors a few hours ago... after we fixed the gzip setting... and I've got a ton of those errors again. Lots and lots.

Never seen this one before.

Re: Adjusted gzip settings: Admin now not loading

Any clue what this error might be? (from the error logs)

2011-05-02 21:42:55 - PHP Warning: gzinflate() [<a href='function.gzinflate'>function.gzinflate</a>]: data error in /home/dazzlegas/steamcrow.com/index.php(1) : eval()'d code on line 1

Just started happening; I've not made any code changes.

Re: Adjusted gzip settings: Admin now not loading

Thank you SupporoGuy!

That did the trick.

I was looking for "gzip" in the title... and couldn't find it.

Thank you! Thank you!

I appreciate you helping out!

Adjusted gzip settings: Admin now not loading

Hi there - Adjusted the gzip settings from 0 to 1, and now my admin page won't load. (I had some new gzip errors in my error logs, and mistakenly thought that this might fix them.) Here is my site : http://www.steamcrow.com/admin The error I get is this: Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The serv...

Product description missing in admin

I updated to the most recent version of OC (1.4.9.4), and seem to have lost the product description in the product admin. If I refresh the page a bunch of times, it might show up... but most of the time, it won't. (Description section has no field). It's like it's being hidden somehow. (You can almo...

Re: [Released] Homepage Slideshow Module

I think that this is a super useful module, and I really like how Readyman set up the admin to make it easy to use and to update. It's a great and useful module. When I tried it in 1.4.9, I had some problems, so I had to turn it off. My Error log was full of new errors, and the page was displaying e...

Re: OpenCart v1.4.9.1

Thank you for all of the bug fixes. Awesome, guys.

Every fix makes this cart better and better.

I'd rather have a super-solid cart then a billion fancy features. More features in time...

Re: OpenCart v1.4.8

Wow, that is a significant release!

I SO appreciate the bug fixes. It can't be as fun as it is to create new features, but it seems like a necessity to keep moving OC forward. We need a stable core as possible, and this is superb.

Thank you for your hard work, guys.

Re: New Templates

Ideas: Crafters Comics Artists Really, anything that's clean (sans rounded corners, fancy gradients), with solid typography, AND features the product categories on the TOP menu, rather than the side. I'd love a template that had some sort of larger (sitemap style) product category menu like here: ht...

Re: Checkout Error Step 2

Never mind, I figured it out.

Basically, I was using Flat Rates for GeoZones, when I should have been using Flat Rate. I don't know if this is a 1.4.7 thing, but the general flat rate seems to be working fine.

Anyway, thanks for OC!

Checkout Error Step 2

Re: New OpenCart Main Web site Design

The new site design looks fantastic. So nice and clean... lends the project even more credibility. (Not that it was lacking, mind you.)

Love the roadmap too.

Nice job!

Any idea how one would do this in 1.4.7?

I tried the old way, but it killed my product pages.

Re: Free shipping with shipping fee in Paypal

Maybe I didn't say it right.

On the OC side, on the customer invoice, it shows "free shipping" and no charge for it.

But PayPal somehow got the instructions to add a $4.00 fee. Very strange.

Anyone know what I could look for to change that? I can't figure out what caused this.

Thank you,

Daniel

Free shipping with shipping fee in Paypal

Hi there. My store is set up for free shipping in the continental USA, and a $15.00 fee everywhere else. (Flat rate for GeoZones) I got an order today, and it turns out that on the Paypal invoice the customer was mistakenly charged $4.00 shipping. When I look up the order inside of OC, is shows free...
