Re: Opencart compared to Woocommerce. What's your experience?

Just some feedback that might be useful to someone else. I have my Woocommerce shop running now. I don't regret changing to Woocommerce. Both Opencart and Woocommerce have advantages and disadvantages. I like Opencart a lot but I find Woocommerce way easier to use. In Woocommerce I used a basic them...

Re: Opencart compared to Woocommerce. What's your experience?

The purpose of me creating this thread isn't to hear if you OC is your choice or not. I'm interested in feedback from those who used both Woocommerce and Opencart.

Re: Opencart compared to Woocommerce. What's your experience?

Thanks for your input, webdesires.

OK, OC is more customizable.
Regarding number of products. I have less than 100 products so that part shouldn't be a problem.

Is it right that Woocommerce have less bugs and is easier to upgrade?

Opencart compared to Woocommerce. What's your experience?

Hi. I've been using Opencart for my webshop the last 8 years (?). Now I'm going to change host and I thought I also would change platform (no migration, I'll start from scratch). I've read about Opencart, Magento, Prestashop, Woocommerce etc. A platform I find interesting is Woocommerce. Before I fi...

Re: Is there a way to set different prices for product B depending if the customer buys product A as well?

Thanks for your reply, Johnathan and Thekrotek. Interesting extension, but I'm not sure it will do what I need. A better explaination of what I look for: Assume I have 25 products costing 150 euro. Product A1, A2... A25. I also have a accessory, Product B costing 20 euro. * If you only buy one produ...

Visitors using mobiles buy less than visitors using desktops. True or not?

More and more visitors use mobiles instead of desktops, nothing surprising of course. It seems like it's less probability that a mobile-user is going to complete a purchase, than a desktop-user. It also seems that the risk of abondoned carts are higher among mobile-users. Is this true or is it just ...

Re: Mobile version, price and add to cart button is at the bottom of the product page. How to move them?

I've been reading the forum all day. Editing stylesheet didn't work and neither did editing product.tpl. Is there anything that looks strange with the code I added in product.tpl? <script> $(function(){ function moveCart(){ if($(window).width() < 768 ){ $('#content > .row > .col-sm-4').removeClass('...

Re: Mobile version, price and add to cart button is at the bottom of the product page. How to move them?

I've tried a suggestion from DigitCart in another old thread: https://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?t=199689 In product.tpl, just before <?php echo $footer; ?>: I added: <script> $(function(){ function moveCart(){ if($(window).width() < 768 ){ $('#content > .row > .col-sm-4').removeClass('col-sm-...

Re: Mobile version, price and add to cart button is at the bottom of the product page. How to move them?

I did the recommended changes, refreshed cache (Admin/Extensions/Modifications), deleted content of cache (except index) in system/storage and cleared the cache in the web browser. The recommended changes didn't change anything at all. It looks just the same with the price and add to cart button aft...

Re: Mobile version, price and add to cart button is at the bottom of the product page. How to move them?

Thanks cyclops12. I understand that I should add the code below to the end of the stylesheet for the default theme. I should edit this one? catalog/view/theme/yourtheme/stylesheet/stylesheet.css @media (max-width: 768px) { div.row { display: -webkit-box; display: -moz-box; display: -ms-flexbox; disp...

Re: How to create a hero image with a CTA button?

It seems like it's hard to get a decent answer. OSWorX, you don't need to bother to answer to my question with your arrogant answers. I'm sure you're the king of the forum with your 5000 posts and that you feel satisfaction of showing off. Congratulations. Maybe arrogant... Yes, damn right. Go get ...
