Re: Braintree Payment Module

rkhanna, have you found anyone to make Braintree extension?
The greatest thing Braintree has, is keeping CC information from reaching OC hosted server, by using a ticket system.

Please let me know if you have a solution.

Does the official release zipfile come with latest bug fixes

I greatly appreciate if someone make this clear for me:

Does the official release zip file come with latest bug fixes, or do I need to get the SVN to get the fixes.

How often fixes are updated from SVN, in the official release files?

If I download 1.5.1.3 from http://opencart.googlecode.com/files/op ... .5.1.3.zip, will it have all the bugs fixed, so far, or do I need to wait for the next version to get the bug fixes?

restock threshold

I would be nice to have one field in product for restock threshold. This would be set based on the product and it's an easy way to know what products to order (restock). more details: Some products sell in hundreds and some just don't sell very fast. By just checking to see "restock threshold" field...

Re: Zones and Tax bug?

I tried to checkout with my shipping and billing being Singapore, but tax didn't show up in my order. So zone is not causing this. It must be something else. I don't know what my customer did to make OC confused, that caused the Nevada tax to be added to the order.

Zones and Tax bug?

I'm not sure if this is a bug so I didn't post it in the bug section. I have tax set up for USA/Nevada. It's been working fine with all my orders, in state, or around the world; until today that I got an order from Singapore, and there was a tax added to it. So checked the zones, there is country Si...

Re: How does Q's FirstData work with guest checkout on 1.3.4

I can't get this module to work. I've installed it as instructed in the installation file. now when I enter CC information, it takes a long time loading the page, and then goes to https://www.mydomain.com/index.php?route=checkout/guest_step_3 which doesn't exist and I get the THE PAGE YOU REQUESTED ...

Re: How does Q's FirstData work with guest checkout on 1.3.4

I got my answer. I guess I had to buy it to try it. looks like nobody is available on Saturday.

I don't see discover card being one of the options. How can I add it, or is it even possible to do so?

How does Q's FirstData work with guest checkout on 1.3.4

I just want to know if anyone tried Q's FirstData API payment, and if anyone knows where does it get guest customer's CC information in OC1.3.4. In 1.3.4 the guest checkout is a single page, so payment and shipping and personal information entered by the customer is on a single page. Does FirstData ...

Re: Product description length limit (not meta-description)

Thank you very much. You don't know how much I appreciate your effort to find the problem. I thought might be the database, but Text type can store up to 65000 character, and this is truncating at 6000-7000, which is a factor of 10 difference. Even though I still don't understand it, the problem is ...

Product description length limit (not meta-description)

I often have product description that are very long, but seems like I can't store more than about 6000 characters. When type the description everything is there, but after saving the product, when I open it, only the first 6000 character or so is there and the rest of the description is gone. I coul...

Head title changes depending on browser

My store's title in head is MYSTORE when I'm using chrome, and SHOPPING CART when I'm using IE. I checked the source that browser sees, it is really the title that is changed in the head section. Re: Installing a SSL

I checkout your website's error logs, there isn't any error for missing file? (looks like there isn't any error in the past few days, the last error is from your UPS module). Q knows a lot more than I do about this cart, so you might be better off going with his suggestion; I think the way OC handle...

Re: Installing a SSL

I checked out your website, and I saw what you mean. When I click on home page, goes back to non secure and images get messed up. I don't know much, but if I were you I would try two things: first: you can try to change all the settings (even for http:) in config.php and admin/config.php to point to...

Re: OpenCart Friendly Hosting

bluehost might be useful.
They are opencart friendly (they have OpenCart setup with Simple Scripts, they also allow local php.ini and .htaccess and anything you need for OpenCart). I think they have resellers option too, but you can check it out yourself.

Re: v1.3.5 Soon

I think vimal is asking for too much. They are all good ideas, maybe except RSS feed for wishlist :), but for 1.3.5 is too many things. They all can happen in later versions.
