That's strange, like I said, I know for a fact that SSL works with opencart. I would try it again especially since you've got SSL to work on your other sites. Is the Geo Trust certificate owned by you or is it a shared SSL provided by your host? If it is a shared SSL certificate, I believe you need your own 'Private SSL Certificate' and a dedicated IP for the SSL to work properly. Can you reactivate it? The private standard SSL certificate should be good for a whole year. Your host or the company you purchased your SSL certificate should be able to help you with the initial installation. Then you can try the steps I posted.

I have found a temporary fix by removing the checkout button. Customer is still able to view basket, update basket and continue shopping. To checkout they would use the top 'Checkout' tab which ensures SSL checkout. I am still interested in replacing the checkout button to its original location and ...

SSL for Basket and Checkout
I am new using v0.7.7
Can someone tell me how to add the 'Basket' and the 'Checkout' button to SSL?
My 'Account', 'Login' and 'Checkout' as well as my admin section are working properly under ssl.
I have searched the forums and have not found the answer.
Any assistance is appreciated.
