I have spoken with a developer from this Forum and also the PHP POS Forum. A developer from the PHPPOS community says he is looking into the possibility of making a phppos oc addon. You probably need to make sure you have set the products to show in the default shop, I think putting a 0 in the column marked store_ids.
also check "status enabled" shows true
