Re: Store Front nearly done: Opinions? Critiques?

Labeshops; Thank you again. I know where you're coming from. I used to do dye-sublimation shirts and had the same size limitations. Now I'm running DTG which provides a bigger canvas to work on. Cue4Cheap; Thank you very much. To be perfectly honest, I had intended to fill out all descriptions of th...

Re: Store Front nearly done: Opinions? Critiques?

Thank you Labeshops, but actually... The designs really do print that large. They are 12X16 Inches which fills up pretty much the entire model's shirt. The Rider-Waite Tarot images have never been copyrighted. Whilst US Games previously claimed a copyright on these, that is not actually a fact, and ...

Re: Store Front nearly done: Opinions? Critiques?

Thanks labeshops! On resolutions greater than 1024 the logo looks fine, but not on smaller ones. I changed it to a smaller logo for now. You are right, a better contrast for the text against the background d would do well...and yes I'll be replacing the graphics as time allows. I appreciate the poin...

Store Front nearly done: Opinions? Critiques?

Hi everyone!

I'm nearly finished with my new store front and would like to hear opinions, critiques, and suggestions.

It is a t shirt and garment shop with a particular niche focus.

Thank you everyone.

Re: Help with Multi store error

Thank you for answering JTY.
This is not a layout configuration problem, or a problem with the templating (theme). In any layout, using any template any product display page also shows the home-layout messaging, featured bar, etc and then shows the product information.

Re: Looking to know if Opencart can do this

Thank Lewis, but I'm all good here. I am not attempting to do what the original poster is, I just thought the method I described might also work for what the original poster is attempting.

Re: Creating Customised Form as a Digital Download Product

You could do it using PHP (and perhaps some Java script for validation in real time). the user would go through the form to generate the results, which would then be passed to a text or XML file through echos. The script could then pass a variable through a session variable, a POST, or through a DB ...

Re: How do i balance stock with a online and physical shop

LIke labeshops said, or you could use the 'Cash on Delivery' option in the payments and eneter the customers informaiton using Oc as your Point of Sale software. There are also plenty of extensions that Email (or maybe print) an invoice, and presto, you have instant receipts.

Re: Looking to know if Opencart can do this

HI guys, I'm new here (just installed a local version last night) so I might be talking out of my butt...however.... I recall seeing a free extension that allows you to track profits from sales compared against wholesale cost. To me this signifies that some additional fields are added to a product r...

Re: simple newb question

Hi raynalyn! I'm new here too, just downloaded OC two days ago. You don't really need to be a master at the MVC approach of pHp to work with open cart...but for your question grgr has the right of it. All of the product information is stored in a MySQL databse. The databse is separate from the scrip...

Hello; I apologize, I am new herre and do not know the format for giving proper links, etc. bull5-i has an extension called "Category/Search Endless Scroller / Infinite Scrolling (vQmod)" for $15 that does exactly what you are looking for. There's also the lazy-load plug-in, but it isn't truly infin...

Re: Newbie Help Please

Have you thought about d-loading your MySQL databse from your site to your MySQL local server (WAMP) and running a 'simple' conversion in PHP? You could read you OS-Commerce database, parse the information into OC fields and inject it into your local database. Then you would simply upload your new M...

Just wanted to say Hello

Hello everyone! I am new to opencart and I am certain that I will have some questions in the future, so I thought I would introduce myself before I started barraging everyone with question. My name is Victor, but I usually go by my nickname of Gladen. I am a part-time web developer with a decent amo...
