Re: upgrading from 1.5.3 to v1.5.6

As long as you are not a programmer, I'd suggest you to make migration in an alternative way. 1. Install a fresh OpenCart 1.5.6 2. Move data from your current store with migration service called Cart2Cart. (easy to use, don't require additional software or programming skills) 3. Customize the store....

Re: How to move from opencart to magento?

Hello Green89, I don't really get the point of leaving OC and migrating to Magento but anyway you can check this video tutorial . I would suggest you to think twice before leaving OpenCart. It is a great, powerful and intuitive solution. Unlike Magento it is not full of errors and bugs, for instance...

Re: Shopify

Hello,
Actually both solutions are user-friendly. But OC has much more features straight out of the box. And it will cost you less even if you hire a developer or a web designer to help you with your store. For those who are looking for details check this review.

Re: migrate version 1.5.2.1 to 1.5.4

There is a service which can help you out. It offers automatic data transfer, and it's not time consuming because it will move your 3000 products in an hour or two...(well, depends, but it worked for me that way) and you will not bother about lost data or duplication as it might happen when you tran...

Re: AceShop to Export

Hello Sandtastic, I'm afraid Avvici is right you can't do it in this way. It is much easier to start a new OpenCart installation and transfer data from AceShop. I believe this can be done via csv export/import. However, I really don't if Aceshop has good export capabilities so as an alternative opti...
