Re: [SOVLED] wrong admin password after migration

Ohh Really,....
it's not the first time I migrated the shop...problem was way more complexe than 2 simple config file to change.
especially when shitty ovh doesn't allow you to download a zip of your ftp and that you have quite some extension and mod installed.

Re: wrong admin password after migration

Hi Butte,
Thanks for your constructive reply!
I didn't know that mysql version was able to be so capricious..

Anyway, for the moment, all seems to work on the 5.5.34 and error log seems to be fine..
Hope it will stay like this.. ::)

Re: wrong admin password after migration

Normally my db backup was intact, it was a generated dump file from OVH in UTF 8 general ci. What I did not get it's why generated new password (via pwreset.php or ocreset.php) didn't want to work. Neither manually replaced with the correct salt sha1 value of password, it wasn't working... that's wh...

Re: wrong admin password after migration

ocreset is only doing an md5 and pwreset.php is doing the correct salt/sha1 mix. Both were already tested and did not work. I'm installing a second opencart on the same server. and there all work. Now I'm trying to integrate my previous opencart with all the plugin into this one..but it's not so eas...

Re: wrong admin password after migration

Even this one doesn't work: pass: 34c711bf8cd59e9989b9caddf6ef367b29649356 salt:92809a5d4 which is the hash for :password. How the salt is generated in opencart? The last funny thing: I can create a customer and log in log out with no problem... I also tried to copy-paste the salt and password on on...

Re: wrong admin password after migration

Up ::)
Any ideas?
Why I even can't recover it? via MD5 replacement into the db or via the small extension.
can it be related to the database encoding or stuff like this??

Re: [VQMOD] Page Cache - ControllerCatalogCategory

Thanks for your reply,
I deactivated some mods and update vqmod yesterday to the latest version and I can again access to my category page.
And auto-complete is also working.

I will try to check if I can reactivate some mods and may be find the one which makes things going wrong.

thanks,
