Special characters are changing when I save to DB

I recently moved my site from 1 host to another. I'm using 2.0.2.0 of OpenCart. I was using some special characters including the trademark symbol, the degree symbol as well as some of the curvy quotation marks (both single and double). When I save old products into the database on the new host, the...

Re: HTTPS Links not loading - OC 2.2

This solution worked for me, but....

I'm changing a core file (i'd prefer not to) and

I can only use either www.mydomain.com or mydomain.com. The other no longer works.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this without messing up the two things above?

Thanks,

Matt

Re: [SOLVED]Authorize.net Error: authorizenet_sim.php on lin

The order ID is being used to distinguish between transactions. I'm not comfortable with PCI compliance that comes along with AIM. I'm going to try and get SIM to work. I am able to transact at this point, but the relay response isn't working. When I was at 1.5.4.1, I was using an extension the Qpho...

Re: [SOLVED]Authorize.net Error: authorizenet_sim.php on lin

I'm using version 2.0.2.0 I'm further along now. It may be working, I need to check with actual transaction. Here is what I did to fix it: based on this excerpt from admin/controller/payment/authorizenet_sim.php if (isset($this->request->post['authorizenet_sim_key'])) { $data['authorizenet_sim_key']...

Re: [SOLVED]Authorize.net Error: authorizenet_sim.php on lin

Thanks for your reply. I called authorize.net and their service may not be as good on the weekend as it is during the weekday. My authorize.net account is set to live.

I'll have to keep plugging away at it. I appreciate any other thoughts you may have please feel free to reply.

Re: [SOLVED]Authorize.net Error: authorizenet_sim.php on lin

There is a checkbox in the admin setup page for authorize.net that says: Test mode yes or no. I have no selected. The store is not in maintenance mode. I have reset the transaction key several times, as well as tried to change the MD5 Hash value several times. I have made sure that Authorize.net and...

Re: SOLVED: Upgraded-1.5.3: "Notice:unserialize" Errors

I just had this same problem, and I used your method above to fix it. I backed up the database table, and then copied over the modules 1 by 1 back into the original database table fixing the numbers in the text to make it work. I am now finished, and it is working. I really don't want to do this aga...

Re: Combo set, Bundle buy, buy together for opencart

Hi, I purchased your extension last fall, but I wasn't able to install it correctly. I'm trying again now. Everything looks good, I followed your instructions, and when I did the install, I got the confirmation, and deleted the install folder. The issue I'm having is in the admin section, when creat...

Re: upgrading from 1.5.4 to 1.5.4.1

Thanks Avvici,

Everything is OK now. I'm not sure the oc_product_tag was there before, because I don't think I could have deleted it.

Either way its all good now.

Re: upgrading from 1.5.4 to 1.5.4.1

Sorry I replied so quick.

In my cpanel, I was able to check the database, and there where a ton of fields, but oc_product_tag was not one of them. What is the next step? How could I have deleted it?

upgrading from 1.5.4 to 1.5.4.1

I made a mistake, I hope you guys can get me through it. I had upgraded to 1.5.4 and then to 1.5.4.1 Everything was working fine. I had previously purchased the Fedex extension from usamayoo. When I upgraded, my fedex didn't work because of a fedex issue, that I didn't know about so I re-installed t...
