Ernie's OC-1.5.6.5-V-PRO-PHP-7.4.x-master

Hopefully Ernie's around to answer. Or maybe someone else who has installed this excellent version. I can't find the original Opencart carousel. There is an Owl slider but it is not a carousel. How can I get the carousel? I can see the carousel files just no way to create a carousel in admin. Also a...

Filter Name Limit Problem Please Help

I have several filter groups like "Type", "Finish/Color", etc. that contain several hundred filter names. I cannot enter more than 333. No errors are returned and if I didn't go back and look I would think that the ones beyond 333 were in the database but that is not happening. T...

Re: Bounced eMail Addresses Unsubscribe

Thanks Mel! I have bookmarked your site :) Just looking at the code is instructive. I probably will not need to run but once or do you think I should break the email.txt list to several shorter list. I'm thinking I've got about 24,000 bad email addresses. I could certainly break those down to severa...

Re: Bounced eMail Addresses Unsubscribe

Hi Mel, I'm using DirectAdmin for the control panel front-end on Apache 2. Mail uses exim and dovecot although I'm using php for the store not smtp. I don't really need to create a script/function to gather the names as I can see in a mail queue which addresses are not being received. I can then cop...

Bounced eMail Addresses Unsubscribe

OC 1.5.6.1 I have an old list of over 27,000 subscribers imported from an online store that had been active for 15 years. Most of the email addresses are bad. I can view the mail queue on the server and it's in the thousands. I'm looking for a way to have an extension detect bad email addresses and ...

Re: Separate Domain/IP Multistore -- How?

That thread is talking about using subdomains which I can accomplish. As noted in the title to this thread I'm asking about separate user/IP accounts for the satellite stores.

Separate Domain/IP Multistore -- How?

First off I'm not using CPanel. Using DirectAdmin which is similar but does not allow for a path to be entered when creating a domain account. So my question is how to point a separate domain/IP to the main store if not using CPanel. I will use a separate SSL Cert on the second store and/or each add...

Re: MultiStore Separate IPs SSL Cert Apache Guru Needed

OK. A 301 redirect will not work, I think I knew this but was hoping the latest version OC supported.
So I guess an easier way to ask is:
How do you point a separate domain/IP to the main store if not using CPanel.

Re: MultiStore Separate IPs SSL Cert Apache Guru Needed

I don't think you read all my post or understand my situation.

Both domains, the main store and the second store have a separate IP and cert.
I'm not using CPanel but something similar, DirectAdmin.

Like I said, Apache Guru needed because I think I may need to alter an Apache file.

MultiStore Separate IPs SSL Cert Apache Guru Needed

I have setup a multistore configuration and have several stores in place. I hope I've explained this satisfactorily... I believe so if you're Apache savvy. This help will require someone with a fairly good understanding of Apache, SSL and OpenCart. OC ver 1.5.5.1 Apache 2 DirectAdmin Control Panel (...

Re: Just upgraded to v 1.5.5.1...now site is EXTREMELY slow!

Yeah. Same here. I've got about a thousand products and quite a few categories but it's def slower. And much slower than another site with twice the inventory using different software. I hope they can find a way to speed OS up. I'm off in look into maybe some sort of caching extension.

Multistore SSL Cert

I have several satellite stores and am about to go live. I am a bit confused about the difference between a multi-domain cert or a wildcard. Seems like they both do the same. Most registrars sell wildcard certs while only a few offer multi-domain. Would one work better and what are the differences, ...

Re: Maintenence mode for Multi store

Same problem here and it's a hassle. When working on a satellite store I have to take our of maintenance mode. There really needs to be independent, per store, control for this... or at the very least be able to see satellite stores from admin when in maintenance mode. I was really hoping someone ha...

Re: Add to Cart to See Price

This is much needed. I'm looking for an answer as well.

Looks like a mod could be made using the "discount' feature. I have a website on hold waiting for a decent way of accomplishing. Surely others have done this and hopefully someone will help us.
