Well, the only way people should be hitting the SSL is from links within the store, so as long as you have your config files set-up correctly you shouldn't have a problem or need to make allowances for SSL in .htaccess Hmm, well we seem to have a problem with https caused by our htaccess configurat...

Thanks for your info!

Unfortunately it does not completely work, it did get a tiny bit faster, but there is still a significant difference between loading the pages with and without the category keyword in the url.

Is there something wrong with the rewritemod perhaps?
