Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

Has the issue regard coupons and paypal been fixed in this update? I'm referring to the issue where if your coupon / gift card takes the carts value below 0, paypal standard ignores it. And if the cart's value is 0, it still takes you through to a payment processor rather than giving an instant suc...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

However I have found that you do not have to accumulate sufficient points. After your first purchase you are able to use any number of points to obtain a fractional discount. This is a surprise as Reward Points are designed to be traded, to reward patronage by giving something for loyalty rather th...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

I believe this bug may have existed in prior versions. I recently upgraded to 1.5.3.1 to determine if it was still a problem, and I am seeing it in this version also... On the Shopping Cart page, if you go to pay for an item using reward points, and enter a negative number, you end up owing more mo...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

This is quite logical - add points = less money, subtract points = more money ( + & - = toward down; - & - = toward up), good idea to make it customer-proof though... I disagree that it's "logical". LOL I seriously don't think anyone in their right mind would "purchase" ...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.3 Bug Thread

Another "bug" I think is as follows: Entering a fraction of the points required to buy an item that can be purchased with points, results in a monetary discount on that item. The documentation says "[customers can] redeem them after they have accumulated sufficient points". Howev...

Re: Order totals to zero, due to vouchers, but doesn't work.

I have figured this out myself. I found the setting. Apparently if a order ever totals to ZERO you have to have the "Free Checkout" payment option installed in order to continue the checkout process. Also set the minimum amount of order for paypal to 1 cent. You would think that Free Check...

[SOLVED] Can't process when order total=0 re: vouchers

I have a somewhat unique problem I think... I have a digital download store, where coupons, vouchers, and store credits are enabled. The only payment option is PayPal. When an order is totalled up, it displays perfectly (in terms of calculation) applying coupons, vouchers, store credit appropriately...

Re: Zero Balance and Paypal Fails - Vouchers, credit, coupon

Hello, I am having the same problem with my store. I tried the fix you suggested, setting to .01 and what that did was stop PayPal from even displaying as a payment option when checking out. However, PayPal is my only payment option. And when I try to process an order where the voucher has zero-ed o...
