Re: Opencart Version 3.0.3.2 linking to Sage 50 Cloud Accounts

@Jules_Opencart did you find a solution to link Sage to Opencart?

Only third party solution that looks viable for my situation is Datalink. Would be interested to know if there are others.

Re: Search function fails to return results

<Punches self in face repeatedly>

It was a badly written rewrite rule in the web server config file.

Thanks Paul

Re: Search function fails to return results

echo $_GET['search']; returns
Undefined index: search

echo print_r($_GET); returns

Array
(
[route] => product/search
)
1

URL definitely has search parameter in query string: /index.php?route=product/search&search=brush

Re: Search function fails to return results

Sorry, when you said trace I thought you meant in an IDE or Xdebug.

Dumping $search returns empty so $this->request->get['search'] is not seeing the &search parameter in the query string...

Re: Search function fails to return results

Will attempt to do this, not sure of the process though. Usually I can work backwards from the error log but all I got right now is silence. Side note, another thing I tried yesterday was replacing all the core files with the originals from the 2.3.0.2 install process in case any were accidentally c...

Re: Search function fails to return results

Should also mention site is on staging server with password protection.

Could make public if it would help.

Re: Search function fails to return results

Posts to results page /index.php?route=product/search&search=Brush

Displays default no results message:

Products meeting the search criteria
There is no product that matches the search criteria.

Any ideas?

Search function fails to return results [SOLVED]

Environment OC 2.3.0.2 VQmod 2.6.2 PHP 5.6.3.3 Default Template I am convinced the Search function worked previously but it now returns no results when searching product names either for exact or partial match. This occurs whether the search term entered in the search bar on header or on search pag...

Re: Change product price depending on options selected

Hi Sachin, Appreciate your answer and you are correct, this would work. However it means creating tens of options to handle 1 week to 54 weeks and that does not necessarily cover every customer's requirements. Some will hire for more than a year. Then these options need applied to relevant products ...

Change product price depending on options selected

My OpenCart 2 store allows customers to hire products but default Options are not flexible enough to provide what I need. Can anyone suggest how the following can be achieved? Open to suitable extensions (haven't found any mysellf) or custom code. I need the product price to change based on the numb...

Re: Image not showing, src empty

Just curious... first, \ is backslash and / is [forward] slash, right? Agreed, that's the sense I used for forward and back slash in my post above. Server is Windows 2012 R2, I experienced the issue under PHP 5.6.31 and 7.0.22. Reason I missed this to begin with is the DIR_IMAGE value generated by ...

Re: Image not showing, src empty

@Sachin did you manage to resolve the issue? I am experiencing the same symptoms under slightly different circumstances and am struggling to identify the cause. Would appreciate any insight you can offer if you managed to resolve the issue. Update Turns out forward slashes cannot be used in paths in...

Re: Please help! Images not showing up after config.php modify

@max05 did you manage to resolve the issue? I am experiencing the same symptoms following update from 1.5.6.4 to 2.3.0.2. Config DIR_IMAGE paths are correct as are database entries for product image path. Update Turns out forward slashes cannot be used in paths in the config files in OC 2.3.0.2. My ...

Re: Store locations

Old post I know but I found the Locations feature pretty unintuitive as well. It allows multiple store locations to be displayed on the Contact page below the main details. To add locations go to: System > Localisation > Store Location To display locations go to: System > Settings > Your Store: Stor...

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

Think this is solved. Short version Changing line #120 of vqmod.php from $stripped_filename = preg_replace('~^' . preg_quote(self::getCwd(), '~i') . '~', '', $sourcePath); to $stripped_filename = preg_replace('~^' . preg_quote(self::getCwd(), '~i') . '~i', '', $sourcePath); Means the /vqmod/vqcache/...

Re: vQmod fails to write to vqcache directory

Unless there is something funky about the path Nothing unusual, just alphanumeric characters, no spaces or special characters. I'll download 2.6.1 again to be sure it's clean and continue testing I'm sure there is nothing wrong with 2.6.1. 2.5.1 (and all previous versions I used) ran without issue ...
