Re: MyHermes (My Herms) Module - would you be interested?
Hi All, I forgot to actually post that I've made a myHermes CSV download vqmod. It saves you HOURS of typing customers address details. Instead of manually entering every name, address, weight, etc. etc. for every order, you just 'tick the boxes' on the orders page, then click 'download'. Then visit...

Re: Top 3 Time Saps, what are yours too?
It's not just the ftp or cpanel problem - the biggest one is... uploading an image file. You give them access to a CMS, then instruct them as follows, while banging their head with a hammer: 1. Do not put spaces in your file names, only hyphen or underline. 2. Do not use Capitals, only lowercase. N...

Re: Top 3 Time Saps, what are yours too?
Got a live one at the moment... the client who can't understand that a domain and a hosting are two separate things and don't necessarily come as a single package. I've sent numerous emails to him explaining this - and he still can't get it. He got stung by a 'middle man' who registered his domain ...

Re: Top 3 Time Saps, what are yours too?
Now, there's an angle! Turn the flood of useless e-mail into SEO traffic, perhaps through a cold-bloodedly tagged and linked form that has benefit notwithstanding the flood. Maybe, how would that work, we'd have to basically make all the emails available for search etc? you could put a warning, if ...

Re: Top 3 Time Saps, what are yours too?
Yeah, the phone call thing gets old. You can spell out every little detail on the website, and you still get those kinda calls (or emails) asking the same things that are there. I actually love adding products - that's my favorite part - though it takes up the most time probably. Shipping and updat...

Yep, that's annoying! Anything else? What do you think would help with that (if you could have anything 'computer' related... not just another person to do it for you, which would be ideal!) Top 3 Time Saps, what are yours too?
Hi All, I was curious what takes you the most time running your business, my top time saps are listed below. 1. Packing up orders to send out 2. Answering customer emails - General Enquiries 3. Re-ordering stock (this was number one, but I've solved this now) some others that I just keep putting off...

Re: OpenCart rent for Money
Yes that's fine. Take a look at the licence: GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3) - https://github.com/opencart/opencart/blob/master/license.txt And a summary of it here: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/quick-guide-gplv3.html But basically, as long as you make your changes/source code available,...

I think I would rather get the accurate statistics from Daniel than paying you. Your data don't seem to be very accurate..some of my mods prices have pumped up by 100%, while some was dropped. Some event went free, so i'm sure you won't get the most accurate calculation ;) Hi, yes please, l...

Re: 10 most downloaded extensions
I can tell you now that the statistics on this are going to be inaccurate. You've just run a script to scrape the download count and mod cost of extensions, and multiplied them. Hardly rocket science - however you've failed to take into account that this isn't going to take into account prices goin...

Why "ten" in the first place? Trying to get onto Letterman? Testing Barnum's maxim? Incidentally, Daniel by querying rather than scraping can extract at will from the database more than you evidently imagine is even in it. Your 195.62.28.14 gives 403 + 404 at once. Dodgson's Cheshire cat ...

Ok, so I may well get banned for this, but please read why this is important to know... If you know what modules are selling, you know roughly where people think Open Cart can improve on. Also, if module makers know what is selling, then they can stop wasting their time on things people don't need/b...

Re: Am I the only one reporting tax? Need sales/vat report.
I understand most of what you're saying. But the opencart guys shouldn't bog themselves down with book keeping. I think, as you ask for, you just need a report/table to extract the data from. I could make something, but it would probably be quicker and simpler to just export this data into Excel for...

Hi. I could do this for you, as a final figure. for the year, or for ever.
It would mean adding a filed to the database though too.
Private message me and we can discuss. Thanks.
