Re: AuthNetSim transaction *nearly* completes

Closure of the case. Within a few weeks of opening the case this was resolved with the assistance of Qphoria (the plugins developer) the issue had been that htaccess was redirecting the store requests incorrectly. While this did not adversely impact the cart functionality in other ways the requests ...

Re: AuthNetSim transaction *nearly* completes

Hi Straightlight, getting into this I didn't see any messages add to the error file. The most recent messages were from earlier this morning and are: 2019-05-08 10:37:49 - PHP Warning: unlink(/home/stormd6/public_html/storage/cache/cache.catalog.language.1557315433): No such file or directory in /ho...

Re: AuthNetSim transaction *nearly* completes

I feel badly because currently I already have a more detailed dialog occurring with the extensions developer but responses are delayed, which I understand but it leaves me guessing if there is something I can do to make it work or more I need to know. Its hard for me to settle as the cart doesn't co...

Re: AuthNetSim transaction *nearly* completes

Thanks Straightlight, I appreciate the feedback. That said - Submit a new pull request to GitHub? I know the basics of Git & GitHub and have even done some php and a little javascript but this seems more the area of someone developing modules as opposed to me purchasing and installing them. My "expe...

AuthNetSim transaction *nearly* completes

To facilitate PCI compliance and transfer the cc processing process off of my server I am switching from the AIM module to using the third party SIM module AuthNetSim. Once I get it working I should also be able to use the "Iframe" feature so the transaction looks native to the site (more native...)...

Re: want to modify the contact us page

My search was to Edit Content on the Contact Page - What I was seeking was a way to have an additional text message on the Contact Us page and also the success page. ??? This was easy to do once I located the correct files and techniques. I needed to create HTML Content for two text areas (one I cal...

Re: add page to header menu

I figured it out for Version 3.x (10/2018) in Admin, Design > Theme Editor > Common > menu.twig - Add items to link to in standard HTML JUST BEFORE the closing </UL> tag at the bottom of the default (and very brief) file. Worked like a charm, easy to get to.

Re: add page to header menu

I found this old thread from 2011 in 2018 and we're on 3.0.2.0, It might be great if OC can get a "Top Menu" check box for info pages but I found my simple and I think effective workaround. I'm creating Empty Categories, Selecting "Top Menu" & treating them as Information pages. Done. Any questions?...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

Hey, still on this. So this is interesting. I was logged into authorize.net and saw that the "Relay Response URL" didn't match what was in the cart. copied the URL from my opencart to Authorize.net (admin). Attempting a transaction never came back to the cart. Instead, the page that drew at https://...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

New code still not writing a comment to the error log. Last error code was yesterday's date and time and result of me (intentionally) fouling the script. (adding bad characters to force it to fail) how odd is this?

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

Had an idea... The authorize.net tech had mentioned something about timestamp being off to such a degree that it failed in this manner. I'd spoken to my hosting admin who indicated the server date/time is accurate to within moments. I did notice though, with these tests, that the time on the error ...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

UPDATE - Atfer I got back to this I realized I had the script in the wrong location - so below until next red notes are from THAT where it was producing error codes. Saw a couple of things, first that I think the error log post script may have been missing an enclosing ". $this->log->write("AUTHORI...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

I saw the "providing the Authorize.net SIM events generated from the logs" - not sure where I can view the "logs"? There is no control for "Debug Mode" within the (my?) Authorize.net SIM extension. I suspect "Test Mode" is their term for Debug mode? This *is* the screen I should be looking at, corre...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

Thanks again for your persistent guidance. I did note that even though the authorizenet sim module was absolutely in "Test Mode" the transaction processed "fully" with the only exception (still) that the order status was set to " Missing Orders " - The process returned to the cart, payment was appro...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

Within Extensions > Extensions > Payment > Authorize.net (sim) Payment module, I have " Order Status " set to " Processing " which (by virtue of language) seems correct (You sent your order, the payment appears validated but may not be in our accounts yet, so we're processing it now). Within System ...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

WAIT, something to add, I just noticed that orders could have a status of "Missing" so I filtered the orders for that status and that these orders were in there! I hope that suggests something as to why orders returning from the Authorize.net SIM module (which are set in extensions manager to set or...

Re: Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

Hi straightlight and thank you! I did the tests as requested (I think I did them correctly) by placing the "Authorize.net (sim)" payment module in "Test Mode" (you suggested debug mode which I don't see there, guessing test mode is what they call that in this module). The only difference I'm seeing ...

Authorize.net order doesn't save as order

Details: Problem appears to be that orders placed on my cart using the authorize.net (sim) module are processing a payment, then returning to the cart which confirms the order ...
