UPDATE:
I decided to go with hostnine.com. Possibly the best hosting company I have ever come across in regards to functionality, features, price and support.
I took their enterprise solution, they did the SSL for me and integrated stripe. Done!

I found out what the issue was:
It was to do with the hosting account.
1. Make sure you have the correct NameServer in your hosting provider, I found out mind was incorrect thus not receiving the emails. This was the issue all along. Check the NameServer, IP Address as well!

If I go to the Forgot Your Password page (/index.php?route=account/forgotten) I can see that the Back button is on the left side and the Continue Button is on the right side of the page. Hide Account menu on "Forgotten your password"page (SOLVED)
Hi,
How can I comment out/hide the "Account" sidebar when on the Forgotten Password page? I have used a mod to hide it from the create account creation and login page, but just need to remove it from the forgotten password page.
Any ideas?

Might have to. I am going to do some digging on cpanel and double check files. If I find that it works I will certainly post here for everyone.
Will checkout smtp now and report back that it works. I think opencart and admin are working fine, I think now this is down to the host provider!

sound like your site is not having problems sending mail or the customers wouldn't have received any. have you double checked that sales@domainname.com is receiving other emails and that it is typed correctly? i can't imagine what else would cause this. maybe try registering a regular user account ...
