Re: Unable to upload zip files to Opencart extensions
Thanks MarketInSG - Internet Explorer did the trick.
To recap: ZIP files only seem to upload in IE
Did not test RAR, sorry.

Re: Unable to upload zip files to Opencart extensions
I've tried to upload a zip file in Chrome and Firefox with the same incorrect file type error.
Adding my vote 'to please fix it'.

Can You Help Me Forward WP Article Links To New OC Links?
I've taken down a WP website that gets decent traffic from search engines and rather not lose it. Old WP links are like this: http://www.domain.com/22/article-about-topic-1/ http://www.domain.com/11/article-about-topic-99/ http://www.domain.com/5/article-about-topic-457/ New OC links are like this: ...

Re: [TUTORIALS] Opencart's "cart" - a deeper look
It's too bad you took so much time to write a post only to have it torn apart bit by bit eh? Some people's kids just have no clue how to show appreciation.

Re: guest checkout
mihka73, you don't mention if your option to enable guest checkout is on or off? If it's on and still not working then you have a real problem. But, did you at least check to make sure it's on and no errors in the log?

Re: Errors after reinstall
Re-read the installation instructions and review the 'permissions' section. You need to be able to write to your logs for example.

Re: Change link on header bar
In the categories is an option to 'include in top menu'... you must un-check these so that the ones you don't want to appear in the menu stay hidden.

Re: most important extensions for funny t shirt store
Nice site, no complaints about the look. You mention having seo promises not working out yet you have a seo link at the bottom right side of your cart? If the service does not work, why promote it? Quick search using Canadian Google of "the shirt shack" brings you up on first page of resul...

Re: to hyphenate or not hyphenate - that is the question - g
Agree on hyphen use. Also, using both version is bad as Google will see it as duplicate content... pick one and stick with it. Since i'm on the subject, Google also sees www.mysite.com and mysite.com as two sites, duplicate content. You should set your htaccess file to re-direct all requests to one ...

Re: Please help with the layout of the product info page
Ben, better to start your own new thread, you will get better answers that way. But to answer your question, you can use Firebug to help you figure it out.

Re: Customer Notes - vs - Order Notes
Well you already have the code, so you just need to spend 15 minutes figuring out how to put it inside a vqmod which is really easy. Also, search for UKSB vqmod creator I think, it holds your hand step by step.
Give it a go, it's really too easy...

Re: Customer Notes - vs - Order Notes
Unless my comprehension if off, by Daniel adding the code to svn, means it should find it's way to an opencart release in the future (hopefully near?). Therefore, your manual changes should show up one day in an upgrade anyway. But if you are wanting to be cautious and teach yourself something worth...

Re: Importing
I understand your hesitation and agree that being cautious is a great way to go when changing anything in a live shop. My vote for total import pro also. Besides, if you make a full site backup, what do you have to worry about? You do your changes, the site goes down, you blow away all files, restor...

Re: Fresh install, admin page looks weird
You said fresh install, so first I would copy the entire admin folder from original files again just to make sure none of the files are missing or corrupted.
The pages that actually display the site are all .tpl files, you will find those inside (admin/view/template/common/header.tpl perhaps)?

Re: Fresh install, admin page looks weird
I don't have your answer but here's how you can find a solution in just a few minutes. Using Firefox, install Firebug and then inspect that part of the page and you will soon find out what is causing the issue. Besides, you should have firebug in your web building arsenal, I can't live without it.

Re: Affiliate Tracking When Login
You should also consider the 'trust' factor when it comes to attracting top performing affiliates. When you sell your products on A...
