If the extension is a vQmod extension you need to install vQmod, if it is an OCMOD extension then vQmod does not need to be installed. For a fuller explanation please read

Just occasionally, depending on the extensions that are loaded, autocomplete can be halted by using an apostrophe in naming options( " ' " as opposed to single quote "`" because json_encode may not have been added to extension code). So if you have some apostrophes it may be wort...

I see in your error message install.xml): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in <b>/home/beardnation/public_html/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-admin_controller_extension_installer.php install.xml is normally associated with OCMOD extension...
