Re: import/export

Use a comma to separate your category numbers.

Oh, be careful with the SKU column. It doesn't get escaped so avoid single or double quotes or other weird symbols.

Re: most stable version of OpenCart?

I would recommend 1.2.8 with some hacks from 1.2.9.

Re: Paypal error

Thanks, your time is appreciated. This is my first time using Paypal so I'm sorry if I'm not entirely familiar with the ins-and-outs yet. If it's any consolation, Paypal support has probably flagged me as a busy emailer. ;)

Re: Paypal error

I figured it out. You need to have Website Payments Pro setup on your PayPal account in order to use Direct Checkout.

Re: Paypal error

I've tried both the Sale and sale/Authorization and authorization thing already. My site isn't live, I haven't been able to perform a single successful sandbox transaction so I don't think I'm blocked - plus I can still going into my sandbox account. API info is copy and paste from Sandbox as well.....

I can't figure this one out either (Invalid Merchant Config). Has anyone else figured it out?

Re: Copyright - can it be removed?

Hello,

http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... +by#p18648

Daniel doesn't seem to mind. I just leave the copyright in the code. Others have creative ways to deal with it.

Re: Use Ajax in my store!

It's taken me a month to design and customize mine and I'm still not finished.

Re: PHP5 Autoload

I think this is one of those it's-good-it's-bad scenarios. Depending on what you use the magic functions for, it may or may not be great. So for a small shopping cart, it probably isn't a problem and if anyone's operations expands to an immense level, they would probably migrate to a different custo...

Re: Looking for new webhost

Is this what you mean by memory limit? http://faq.1and1.com/scripting_languages_supported/php/16.html You should probably know that I'm using a business package and not the developer's package or a private server. PHP5 is available but you need to drop a modified php.ini file in your directory. You ...

Doesn't __autoload consume more memory at the outset?

Re: For Germans OpenCart is dangerous

Relax, no need to get irked. It's just a difference in culture. :) It's like belching - it's unacceptable in North America but in other countries, you're paying a compliment to the chef!

Re: For Germans OpenCart is dangerous

I don't get it. ... Are germans this stupid that they can't do 1st grade math? I believe he is referring to stringent online business laws in Germany. :) It is probably not so much about math - the Germans I know are very good at math - it is more about having to disclose everything which isn't bui...

Re: New OpenCart Logo

Oooh, pretty! I like the first one but not the second one - too much space in between the letters. Makes it look... uncertain, loose, not-together but the first one is nice. :D
