Available languages setting in Multistore (1.5.1.3)

Opencart 1.5.1.3 In admin -> system -> settings -> {multi_store_name} -> local -> available languages there is an option to enable or disable languages for multistores. I see that these options are saved per store_id in TABLE[settings] -> KEY[config_language_available] The language selectors in cata...

Re: Path for information pages ex. /info/about

Solved by hacking seo_url.php and checking for info/about occurance which can be set in information->data->seo-url. Far from optimal but it works kinda.

Path for information pages ex. /info/about

Hi,

I would like to order my seo_url information pages with a path in the url. Information page domain.com/about would become domain.com/info/about. Information page domain.com/programming would become domain.com/tutorial/programming for example.

Does anyone have a solution for this in 1.5.x?

Re: Coupons and taxes - don't interact at all

You can change the application order of taxes in admin -> extensions -> order totals.

If you want to have the tax visible when a 100% discount is applied you have to comment out "if ($value > 0) " in catalog/model/total/tax.php.

OpenCart is really powerful and well designed.

Re: Maintainance mode does not respect SEO Urls

Rearranging SEO-urls preaction before maintainance preaction and removing the break in the code below will solve the problem. Isn't the break out of order here? The break ensures that there can be no more than one preAction. system -> engine -> front.php public function addPreAction($pre_action) { $...

Re: SEO ?page= ?order_id= querystring

Hmm, this request is probably bogus since the sort and order are also just ?querystrings. If someone has something interesting to say about this, please share!

SEO ?page= ?order_id= querystring

Does someone have a solution for SEO-ing the ?page=1 and ?order_id=2 querystring variables?

They just need to be appended to the end in /1 and /2 form.

Maintainance mode does not respect SEO Urls

OC: 1.5.1.3. When SEO urls are enabled the maintaince page does not respect this setting. All urls on the maintenance page are forwarded using the default query url style. The SEO_URL preAction is loaded after the Maintainance preAction in index.php. Switching around statements results in incorrect ...

Re: Multidomain - SEO URLs

You rock! Using mod_rewrite didn't cross my mind for one second. Thanks for the reminder!

Re: Multidomain - SEO URLs

That solution does not suit my needs unfortunately. I have thought about it though. In conclusion SEO urls do not work with multi domain, since an request uri could be duplicate? Is this a default store problem? If I want to get it fixed, I need to solve store_id from request url and incorporate sto...

Multidomain - SEO URLs

This is regarding information pages on a multidomain/multishop setup. I have to create multiple "about" pages since the information displayed on it differs from TLD to TLD. I would like to be able to serve the "about" page on the following URLs. http://domain.com/about (http://domain.com/index.php?r...

Re: Multistore Layout/Module Problems

Solved. You have to add extra routes for the shops pages seperately in the Design -> Layout -> "pagetype".

Always lovely how you can be busy the whole day and find the solution in a few minutes after finally asking for help.

Multistore Layout/Module Problems

I currently have two stores set up. They both have the home layout as default layout in settings -> "storename" -> Store -> Default Layout. The home Layout has a featured module attached to it. Both stores show the featured module on the home layout (common/home) perfectly. Only the second (non defa...

Re: Vqmod problem

Thanks for the offer Jay, but since I _might have_ hacked core I do not want to waste your time on something stupid I might have done. I did not hack VQmod however. I have removed the co.uk store. When I visit from a .com everything is fine and mods are being made. When I visit from .co.uk the (defa...

Re: Vqmod problem

I am currently having "sort of" the same problem. VQmod 2.1.5 works fine on TLD's without a 'period' in them (net|com). But when I make a request from a TLD with a period (co.uk) VQmod aborts and no VQmod changes are being made. I noticed that you are also using a co.uk. Clearing VQmod cache solves ...

Re: language in url

Thanks for the heads up about inveoSEO. Apparently it does what it promises (prefix shop language url) but it really doesn't offer any solution to the SEO language problem. I had expected more for that kind of money. The javascript language selection should at least be replaced, to index pages in mu...

Re: language in url

Also this extension offers language prefix urls. I have already requested if the developer can make the language prefix available as a separate extension. Both extensions offer much, much, much more than I am searching for, so the costs for the full extensions are not really in my interest. http://w...

Well, haven't got the slightest idea where to look for. I should probably add the language query string in the url parameter of every page served.
