It is more than one year since Daniel announce it on first page. and we still did not get any beta version. I hope Daniel is working something good for us and announce it I hope for Faster OC 2 and I think it is better to release beta version, so user can find the bugs and OC can correct it just my 2c

I would say that the storefront template let too much unused space on left and right columns. When displaying in a window on a 17 inch screen, it passes prematurely to tablet format even if there is enough space to be displayed like 1.5.6 . Many more changes was made to opencart 2.0 so it delayed the release.
