I'm also facing the same problem.

I am also using a shared hosting in GoDaddy.

It occurs at least 20-25 times in a day.

Edit:

I disabled the sitemap. I hope this solves my problem.

I think there should be 2 options in the admin panel for out of stock items.

1. Remove Add to Cart Button - This will the add to cart button in the product page, category listing and remove the item in the featured list, Latest List etc.
2. Remove Listing - That will hide the product from the site.

This is an important feature that should be added. Although, there is always an alternative but an easier alternative is always preferable.

I have newly installed v 1.5.1.3 and I get this error. I get this error specifically in Google Chrome. It comes with Undefined index: zone_id in tax.php error on the same line. Also, it does not show at the start but it shows after the user tries to checkout. and the error is being displayed redund...
