Re: Email to "All Customers" not sending v1.5.3.1

Hey Guys, The SSL patch seems to fix my issue of not sending and the vaue staying at 0 of xxx. Now, if you have an issue with the newsletter that is blocked while sending, it is often due to the fact that the script is called by the opened page. If there is a small connection failure, then the scrip...

Re: [Extension] Customer Group Discounts

This breaks the websites with different prices for multiple currencies.
It is probably just an extensions conflict, but people were able to purchase everything in dollars at the same value as in euros, so 99€ = 99$ ->not good...

Re: Discount based on past orders

Well, i could code it myself, but the point was to avoid that process and just buy something that does it and that does it well ;) So let me know if you add it soon, i'll buy it for sure ;)

So let's say a guy bought the product1 and i want him to be able to get a discount on his new order, but only if he bought product1. Any ideas? I have seen things for rewards based ...

Would there be a way to have a fixed price in different currencies to have nice round numbers? I mean, imagine this: You have a product at 99$ The conver...

Re: Different prices for different currencies

Well i don't see how this would give integer numbers that end with 9... and actually the integer rounding is already taken care of in the prefs.

Different prices for different currencies

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to have different prices for different currencies. I come from Zencart and it does it. This can be helpful when the rounding of the currency gives some odd numbers... you know that a customer is most likely to buy something if the price ends with 9 but for exam...

Re: Large downloads sometimes fail...

Edit: thank you all for your help ;) Allright, after a little struggle, the xsendfile is in place and it's working lik a charm!!! The only drawback of this method is that you need a dedicated server... but for the people that distribute large files let's say bigger than 400Mb, you should use this in...

Re: Large downloads sometimes fail...

Maybe it depends on the config, but on mine, it does indeed reduce the memory load a lot!
It looks like the x-sendfile is a lot more powerful though, and does not use php, you just need to send the headers. so that might be what i need.

Re: Large downloads sometimes fail...

Well here, using a loop of 4096kb avoids the whole file to be loaded in memory... and then avoids slowing down the server... but i'll look into this xsendfile, thanks for the info.

Re: Large downloads sometimes fail...

Here is a valuable info i found in the zencart code and that was working just fine: if (DOWNLOAD_IN_CHUNKS != 'true') { // This will work on all systems, but will need considerable resources $zco_notifier->notify('NOTIFY_DOWNLOAD_WITHOUT_REDIRECT___COMPLETED'); readfile(DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD . $origin_fil...

Re: Large downloads sometimes fail...

Ok, i modified it, but what strikes me is that each time a download is launched, the whole website is slowed down a lot... I just tried to monitor the server using top -u and i got a very high memory usage... also you might be onto something, when a download is started, starting a second one will of...
