did you get any where with this, it seems like a simple ask! Just want to list 'other' products down the side so people can add them to the cart... really want them to be full products, so quantity etc. and stock management is handled the same as a proper product.

for others, you need to make sure it's a php string.

don't put any ' in your text and you should be ok. you could escape them with \ or ' or something but I just removed them.

If your buy some hosting. Just cheap like what’s linked to on this website. Or I use since I’m in the uk. They have one click installers. OpenCart is in that list. Click it and it will setup OpenCart for you. Then go to the admin area and add some products. And setup payment extensions...
