Re: I can't edit/mody orders (with SSL)after update to 2.1.1

Hey Lipper, Your post saved me hours of work! The bit of code below fixed the problem for me. Thanks again! See Lipper's post above for the full instructions. I think it's number eleven from the top. $data['store_url'] = $order_info['store_url']; # add the following if( isset($_SERVER['HTTPS'] ) ) {...

Re: Banner Slideshow Image Order Issue [SOLVED]

To sort by banner title, I modified the code above posted by swazemarket by changing "ORDER BY image ASC" to "ORDER BY title ASC". I also noticed if banner titles are only numeric they don't sort properly. I solved this by naming banner titles: AD1, AD2, AD3, etc. and it works like a charm. Titles t...

Re: Pricing for Product Options

Options Boost has been released and has the option to show the full option price rather than the +2.00 Excellent! Thank you Qphoria. Your extensions/modules (like offline credit card) are a lifesaver. I've already had two websites require full prices for product options and one more on the way. I w...

Re: Pricing for Product Options

Hi, I'm using OpenCart for a client site - I've found this post incredibly useful. I managed to fix up AnonyMoose's code and wanted to share it back - so here we go! foreach ($option['option_value'] as $option_value) { if (!$option_value['subtract'] || ($option_value['quantity'] > 0)) { if((float)$...

Re: Is there a module to do this?

Code found in this post solved the problem for me: Pricing for Product Options . I copied the code from the end of the post (page 2) and replaced the original code on this page: catalog/controller/product/product.php. Very simple. It took me one minute. Now each product size has a complete price (fo...

Re: Dynamic Price

I found code in the post below which solved the problem. I copied the code from the end of the post (page 2) and replaced the original code on this page: catalog/controller/product/product.php. Works like a charm. Opencart Forum: Pricing for Product Options This extension is also supposed to solve t...

Re: Is there a module to do this?

I need the same thing. For example, Vitamin Capsules: 20 capsules $15, 35 capsules $20, 50 capsules $25. Option price modifiers (+$5, +$10, +$15, etc.) is not how this type of product is sold on most websites so that won't work.

Re: Dynamic Price

I have the same problem. My client sells nutrition supplements. Their products come in different quantities and prices. For example: Vitamin Gold is the product and it's available in these quantities: 20 capsules $15, 35 capsules $20, 50 capsules $25. Option price modifiers (+$5, +$10, +$15, etc.) i...

Re: Show Attribute As Text Not Blob?

I see how attributes are supposed to work now. It thought this was a text area but, like you said, it's just a short field. For this project, it will take some time to setup a lot attributes. It would be easier to copy specs from another document and paste. Maybe I'll try to modify the program for t...

Re: Show Attribute As Text Not Blob?

I was able to at least preserve line breaks by modifying the code for "tab-attribute" content. This is found on the product template page (product.tpl) in the div id="tab-attribute". Original code: <?php echo $attribute['text']; ?> Modified code to show line breaks: <?php echo nl2br($attribute['text...

Re: Show Attribute As Text Not Blob?

This must be an error in OpenCart. The text in the MySQL field shows the formatting but it's output on the page as a block without formatting -- and it's centered for some reason. I removed the centering in the style sheet. In admin there's no text editor to input attribute text, just a text box. It...

Show Attribute As Text Not Blob?

When I enter attribute text with line breaks, the text appears on the website as a blob with no line breaks. (See the link below.) The database field type is set to "text" and not blob. How can I preserve line breaks? See this product description page and click the "specification" tab: http://enzyme...

Re: Site not on www. how do i change it.

I had the same problem, the "www" version of website would not work. You'd just get an error message in your browser if you tried to view a "www" page. I eventually discovered my problem was VQmod and my site works again after removing it.

Re: [1.5.0] Remove Wishlist

No luck! I installed vqmod and placed the "remove wishlist" xml file in the xml folder but they (wishlist, compare, reward points) still appear on the category and product pages. I'm using opencart 1.5.1.2. The website link is below but if I can't solve this quickly, I'm going to comment out the lin...

Re: Add Manufacturers List to Left Column 1.5.1

I can't believe a module to list manufacturers isn't included with OpenCart. It's a typical item in most shopping cart programs. But considering I've paid $1000 for other shopping cart programs that weren't as good as OpenCart, I'll gladly pay $10 for the module.
