I just had the same problem. There is something wrong with the permissions. This fix http://forum.opencart.com/index.php/topic,1891.0.html and http://forum.opencart.com/index.php/topic,2510.0.htmlworked like a charm for me

Nevermind I found the fix. There is something wrong with the permissions. If anyone else is having the same problem the fix can be found at http://forum.opencart.com/index.php?topic=2510.0

image permissions problem
Ran into another problem. I just upgraded from 0.7.8 to the current 0.7.9. The problem is I am now unable to upload pictures. The admin panel shows that files are being uploaded but all it gives me is broken links. The uploaded pictures are showing up in the ...shop/images directory but will not ...

This may be a very noob question but how do i configure paypal details. I searched around for hours but found no good starting place. Anything will help. Btw I am running opencart 0.7.9 rc5 Thank you
