I've ended up doing that, but that wasn't really the point. We want to update to the new version but if its not possible I need to come up with a way to import that user accounts from the database to the new version.
Is such thing even possible?

I tried upgrading from version 1.5 this afternoon and the result was so spectacular that not only did the new version become broken but I managed to destroy the previous version, even when I restore the old files... Can't login into the admin panel
Hello
I've just installed opencart and the admin login page keeps redirecting me to itself. Even if the username is wrong. I've tried changing the directory of the admin panel adding and removing www, http and all their permutations to no avail. Any ideas?
