Re: Gzip on shared Hosting

The extension i've just installed is this: (VQMod) Optimize and Speedup your open cart ( great for SEO ) Item Number 3862 My other extensions are minimal really. Price update redux, product image sticker, smart search, category shipping, product extra. usual stuff. I am wary of the cache especially ...

Re: Gzip on shared Hosting

Thanks for the response.
I was looking at VPS options today but it wasn't too clear to me how i'd benefit. My main priority right now is page load speed, would a VPS help?

Gzip on shared Hosting

Hi all, i'm experimenting with reducing my page load speed. I've bought and installed an extension that stops the DB queries and product count which gained me approx 2.5 seconds. My page load speed is around 4.6 seconds which is still a bit slow for a store that only really has about 2000 products a...

Order status change produces bounced emails

Hi all, as the title suggests, when my client changes the status of customer's order the subsequent email which OC sends out to inform the customer is always bounced. I wondered if it was maybe that if the customer checks out with creating an account this would happen. any ideas? Thanks khinteriorsl...

Auto re-format text in description box V1.5.1

I wondered if this was possible? My store is a couple of years old now and as i have let the client upload products over time the description box has become very messy on a lot of products. The usual scenario, mixed font sizes, colours, bold block text etc. Is there a way, extension perhaps, to re-f...

Re: Product with multi options and prices

That would work for sure. The sticking point is that the people who buy these products aren't used to purchasing by square meter. They always shop by - if it's a replacement door they choose height first to fit their repsective carcass and then they choose the appropriate width. To you and i it is s...

Re: Product with multi options and prices

Great, thanks Flo. For the moment i've tackled the easy bit with Option Price Update Redux (had the ability to hide the [+£1.00, +£2.00] prefix) The next step is to see how i can adapt Dependant Options to what i need. I guess in the old days it would be the 'if', 'and', 'then' arguments i.e if heig...

Re: [RELEASED] Dependent Options

Just to check.

You offer a download for OC 1.5.1 but you stipulate compatibility for OC 1.5.1.3 or later - is it compatible with my 1.5.1?

also

Is there a way to hide the (+£1.00 etc) from the options drop down?

thanks in advance

Product with multi options and prices

Opencart Version 1.5.1 Hi all, I have a client that sells doors and drawer fronts for kitchens. These doors come in a mixture of lengths, widths, colours at different prices. I created a category called doors/drawers and created a sub category for each component. ie one for doors and one for drawers...

Hi all, when i'm building a normal html website and i want different portions of a graphic banner to link to different areas of a website i would usually add a hotspot and insert the link. Ok so i thought i was very clever by editing the xml file in dreamweaver and changing the "/default/" to "/bleen/" - No Joy! I should also add that i have a Bleen template as default, will that effect the xml file? Hi, I've just uploaded the latest VQMOD to my v1.51 store and ins...
