Modules conflicting with Layouts?

Hello :) I am having difficulties getting two modules to show on the home page. I am using Category Menu Pro as my main menu. In my Theme files I always include: $Column_left So it appears on all pages. Category Menu Pro Module is then set to Layout: default and Position: Column Left. Next I want to...

Re: Upgrade errors - 1.5.1.3 to 1.5.5.1

Thanks for putting me in the right track, I cleared the errors by updating the old code in template/common/header.tpl and template/module/cart.tpl. I think the theme is based on a very dated version!

Re: Upgrade errors - 1.5.1.3 to 1.5.5.1

Oops :-[ OK, so we are running a custom copy of the default theme. To clarify, I now need to add any additional files from the new release to our custom copy in their corresponding location. Will we also have to do any code updates to the files themselves? if so is there a documentation to guide us?...

Re: Rename Confirm Order link (check out)

Not sure my post was clear enough. I am trying to edit the 'Confirm Order' link at the last step of the chekout page. Unless my vision is going, there is not an instance of 'Confirm Order' in 'catalog/language/english/checkout/checkout.php', only 'Step 6: Confirm Order' which is not what I want to e...

Re: Upgraded from V1.5.0 to V1.5.1.3

Accordion Module has disappeared.
The changes to catalog/controller/common/column_left.php caused this (that is where the module is). I am not sure what to do?

Re: Upgraded from V1.5.0 to V1.5.1.3

Thanks Q Note that if that file hasn't been customized for your theme, you should not be including it as part of your theme and you can just delete it to let it fallback to the default folder. Understood, I have made minor edits to this file. I crossed checked the new file with an untouched V1.5.0 v...

Re: How can template be modified?

For your first page (I think that is the category page), in admin go to catalog/category/ click edit, then under the design tab select the layout you want, i.e. category. Then go to Extensions/Modules/ click edit Manufacturer, add Module, edit the settings including 'Layout' which you set to categor...

Re: Installation: Help Needed Badly :/

Re: I cant change the theme

Ah, I did not know you were referring to a paid-for theme. I am not familiar with this.

Surely there is a 'readme' file that goes with it?

Sorry I can not be of more help.
