Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.2 & v2.0

@olega : that's because a product can be in multiple categories... check the discussion in the module page.

If your concerns are about Google seeing different pages, don't worry, there is a canonical for that.

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.2 & v2.0

Yeah of course the dots are replaced, sorry. I guess if you need a fix right now you could check in the code, in the model there's the function that does all the renaming and you could append your ".html" right there. Sorry I can't be of any help right now, I'm not home and I don't have ac...

Hey madimar,

Your htaccess is OK, don't worry about it. Sounds really strange. I know you posted this 3 days ago, did you make any progress?

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.2 & v2.0

Hi ccM. Well I have no idea :) Sorry I don't know this module, but deadcow SEO just auto-fills the regular input texts "SEO keywords" from OpenCart and does no hack so it's just like it's not there and you filled everything by hand. Hence, no conflict whatsoever, at least not its fault ;)

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.2 & v2.0

Bonjour FTIndustriels,

yeah it must be because of your server timing out. Do you have access to the PHP configuration? Try to increase the max_execution_time if you can.

Regards

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

Hi nando.

OK I'll make the other updates first and then we'll see what we can do.

BTW I lied, version for OpenCart 1.5.0 is not coming this week, I definitely can't make it, sorry for the ones waiting for it. :-[

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

Yeah the old AutoSEO has been removed so that there are no hundreds of version, so basically old AutoSEO = new deadcowSEO and remaining AutoSEO = fork. Don't worry I'm going to see what I can do about all we talked about, it's just that I have a few things to do before, so I thought it would be bett...

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

Oh OK I see. You're talking about ANOTHER AutoSEO module that someone "forked" (without asking BTW ;) ) from the original AutoSEO, here's the url http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=547 The man behind that added some stuff for the categories, y...

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

Hi nando,

when you say you have doubled the products in the url_alias, does that mean that you doubled them yourself or that the module makes duplicate lines? Could it be possible for you to copy and paste some of your table content? I don't really get it.

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

No, it does not work automatically. For that I would need to change OpenCart core files and I don't want to do that ATM, too much trouble in term of support :) I'm not quite sure to understand when you talk about duplicate products... If you could send me a dump or something that would be great caus...

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

Hmm yeah but you know why I told you that? I have this module (not written by me) that does a report and allows to group the results by name. If I had your database I wouldn't be able to group because of the spaces. And instead of asking the author to handle my errors, I'd fix the spaces myself, bec...

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

OK from what you said then it's a bug report for OpenCart in general, isn't it? Let's ask Daniel why he doesn't trim the name before saving to the database.

Re: [RELEASED] deadcow SEO v1.1

Is it the module not working right or your typing that's wrong? If you have the same problem with another module will you ask for a fix too? Wouldn't it be faster to fix the space yourself so that you have a clean database?

Just asking.

SuprawinTurbo, madimar : thanks!

minhhieu493 : yeah of course. BTW the interface is available in English and French. If you're like Spanish it will stay in English but you can use the module nevertheless.
