Re: OC 1.5.4 with PHP 7.2

I would suggest an upgrade to 1.5.6.5 if you don't have too much customization on you 1.5.4. As Ernie has pointed out it works fine with PHP 7 with the new encryption file. I've got several 1.5.6.5 based sites using PHP 7.4.

Re: Can you set a coupon with no value?

A discount coupon would work for you as you know what the deal is. I would say a free gift extension would be easier for the customer to use. :)

Re: Can you set a coupon with no value?

I think you're better off getting a free gift extension from the marketplace.

Find a theme which you like and use CSS to improve the layout, if necessary. Avoid Journal theme at all costs.

If you you want to sell property look at one of the opensource real estate scripts. They're probably more suitable.

Re: Opencart Verses Magento

Magento is a large platform with lots of function and tools. Both Magento and OpenCart has designed for large online stores. Re: Spam, bots and delete customers without orders

I use Ninja Firewall. There's a free version which is pretty good but the paid for version is well worth the money IMO.

Re: Version 1.5.6.1 database with V3

I'll give a +1 for 1.5.6.5. Personally I would upgrade your 1.5 to 1.5.6.5, stick a responsive theme on it and keep using it for as long as it runs. Once it stops running have a rethink. Job done. :)

Re: Adding invocation code to opencart home and other pages?

It depends on what the adserver requires. Generally theres a script to go in the site header and code for the page. What adserver is it? Revive?

Re: Help - I have been hacked!

Once you're back up and running stick and SQL injection blocker on like Ninja Firewall. I use it on all my OC sites. Personally I would delete all your OC system files and upload clean ones connecting to the existing database. Make sure you set new passwords all round. :)

Re: How to find Admin username?

You should also be able to find it in the database if you know how to use phpMyAdmin or SQL Buddy.

Did it just stop working or did you do anything? I can take a look but would need site access. :)
