Thanks for taking the time to respond. I see where you are going but the optional items should be added to the end cost so 5m @ £1 = £5.00 to splice it is a total cost to add of £10. but this was it still adds £10 to every metre!

I got a shop. it sells rope! thats all! By the metre. we also sell splices and add fittings to yacht ropes. I set up the products, but, we sell by the metre. So you add a rope at £1 per metre. to splice is another £1 on top. But I added this to the option section, but it adds the cost to every metre...
