Shipping Cost per Item

I think I read somewhere that I have to install some module / plug-in if I want to assign shipping cost per item. Is this correct? If you're selling computer items how do you charge for shipping? Is it fix rate or per item? The store owner wanted to charge per item - so what do you suggest? I'm usin...

I already created the zone, geozone, tax class, add to the product but still no success. The checkout details only display the actual total price of the item. I also configured the s...

Re: OpenCart 1.5.0 Released!

I understand your concern since I also have the same problem. This is normal if you understand your customer compared to some people here who only know how to develop program and period. They will only praise Daniel all the time. I do not understand how the OpenCart team set their development road ...

Re: Starting to Dislike OpenCart

I think of all the users and developers should remember that OpenCart is free and open source software which is published in the GPLv3 license. The criticism, of course, is often helpful, but people who are coding this software and distribute it for free for everybody to use should be respected. An...

Re: Starting to Dislike OpenCart

Now this application is becoming more annoying with the release of 1.5.0. I do not understand if OpenCart is just a personal project of the developer. It's like, he will change it according to his mood w/o taking consideration the other user. The layout of 1.5.0 is completely different and it seems...

Re: Starting to Dislike OpenCart

I found the OP quite funny to be honest - The reason you lost all your changes isn't opencart's fault, it's because you used softaculous to upgrade. Softaculous is made to install a pre-made cart/application into the right folder, on the right domain that you choose, with the right settings. it doe...

[1.5.0] - Layout completely changed

Hi, I'm wondering why the developer completely changed the looks and layout of OpenCart. What is going to happen now to all active store who's utilizing Version 1.4.9.5? Do version 1.5.0 offers the template / theme of 1.4.9.5? Do we really need to upgrade to 1.5.0? If not, will the 1.4.9.5 soon beco...
