what should be in the order table 'custom' field?

Hi all, i'm trying to trace a problem with why my orders from paypal are going into 'missing orders' and not a sale. I've read about the 'custom' field being an issue in the orders ID. Mine is basically full of either:

[]
or
""

Is this correct?

Re: Canonical link with categories

The original OP is correct, and OC has indeed set this up in a very bad way. The canonical should reflect the URL structure the site is using, not its own version of it. Whilst eventually this will sort itself out in the search engines, it is a VERY bad way of doing things, as you end up with a URL ...

Re: upgrading from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2.0

That sounds very convoluted, as you're essentially just uploading the new core files on top of the existing, and then running the install, correct (although you're doing it a longer way round)?

upgrading from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2.0

hi all, i can find upgrade instructions for upgrading from v2 to v3, but not on how to upgrade from a current v3 to the latest version 3, eg 3.0.1.1 to 3.0.2.0 .

Is the process the same?

Re: 404 and google search

Your page not found is indeed returning a 404 error. you can check with this:

http://www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php

However, as others have said, you should be redirecting all old URL's to the new ones. There are plugins to do this, depending which shop you migrated from.

Hi All, i installed an extension which the developer stated was working on OC3. It wasnt, it had bugs, and it seems hes now withdrawn OC3 support.
