Re: How can we remove "index.php?route=" from everything

tresero wrote:That has a slight bug if you take the .php out of line 11.

also, is there a way to get rid of common/home and just have a normal home page url?
could you tell me what this bug is?

And I'll stick that in the next release.

Re: How can we remove "index.php?route=" from everything

I did try your code with OC 1.5.4.1 (latest) and worked well. Thank you !! Is it possible to remove the .PHP extension? Please share your thoughts. Also your code to detect HTTPS vs HTTP is throwing an error in my environment without HTTPS. Thanks, Harry We have just finished a new 'fixed' version....

I've been on my Christmas break visiting family, I had notified all of my customers of this but I have offered a full refund to Steve (rainforest) should he wish to accept it. I do take customer service seriously and will do whatever is possible to keep my clients happy and have many loyal customers...

Re: Maintenance mode or temporarily disable one of multistor

If you want a quick and dirty fix, you could check which store is being loaded up, and if it's your winner, then load up a html file and quit opencart with die(). Nothing too complex. After $config->set('config_store_id', $store_query->row['store_id']); If you add if ($store_query->row['store_id'] =...

Re: Multistore Domain Pointing through htaccess

Is there no way within Direct admin to specify the webroot? if it is, just point that to the same folder instead of an addon domain. you could also make a softlink to the same webroot, something like ln -s /home/otherdomain.com/www/ /home/mainstore/www/ would work

Re: Could not connect to the database

for the server address, you need an ip address or a hostname.

if its installed on the same server (typical setup) then use localhost

Re: How can we remove "index.php?route=" from everything

I can confirm it does work, and works on many sites too.

If you send me a PM I'll see if we can sort your problem out, and yes, I meant opencart 1.5.4.1 but the same script works on version all the way back to version 1.4.9.x

Re: Opencart Template IE 10 Menu Error

I'm pretty sure the main issue here is how over reliant the default opencart template is on jquery for things such as the menu, which could be done entirely in css

Re: Product label printing

@Rainforest: not at all, we're very competitive compared to other UK software agencies. If you are comparing us to freelancers in developing countries then yes we're more expensive but you get what you pay for. @smifis: yes because someone asked about it today. And all of the other threads too? hah...

It needs to be in the admin folder, not the store base. You lost me.... please explain a little bit more. Thanks.
