your issue is probably due to something else.
the count was added i think in the 1.5.x versions.

First off, thanks for the help. I fixed the base ref syntax, although that didn't fix the IE secure content dialog box. My config files are set up correctly as well. I'm going to keep looking through the template creator's forum for any help even if the guy hasn't responded back yet. argh... My ple...

Your issue here is a little different then what i have.
Is there a way i can take a look at your setup? directory structure.
I suspect that your issue is not with OpenCart but rather with resetting of the session variables.

Well so far it seams like in internet explorer, there is no $_COOKIE at all, it should have at least the cookie for PHPSESSID
