Re: Is Open Cart better than VirtueMart for Joomla! ?

I will agree , having used Joomla since version 1.0 it has been a learning curve.

but once you find it's in's and out's it really is powerful and easy to use.

Trickiest part is changing template design in fact.

and even this is not a issue anymore if you have the right tool ;)

Re: GeoZones [for Dummies]

ok further enlightenment from the shipping company in this instance is the following forumula;

The modules PBT work with are weight/M3 (the greater of weight (kg) or volume (m³)) / zone (cities).

Therefore I may have to duplicate the weight based shipping module and work from there.

Re: GeoZones [for Dummies]

from what I can see and I have posted this now in several forums and @ your shop. is that there is no easy way of doing a simple replication of shipping method's Hikastore has this one pretty much down nailed and allows for new zones to be made and assigned to various shipping methods. but for Oc I ...

Re: Integration with Joomla?

yeah it's the fact that they try to milk you for every site and ongoing subscriptions etc which put me off , as well as the ioncube crap (that totally put me off).

I guess they still get the odd customer though.

Re: Integration with Joomla?

How we getting on with this , was just thinking today that it would be good to have a simple link and/or icon in the Administrator Panel of Joomla combined with an autologin integration between joomla and OC this would be the go.

Re: Assigned sub-category against itself

by removing the 2nd Category and redoing it , seemed to have solved my problem for the time being.

Iam not sure weather the bug will resurface later however.

fingers crossed.
