Gmail could not verify that it actually came from my domain

Using mail (not smtp) settings. When a customer gets an email notification of an order or when creating a new account, they get the email but it has the annoying message at the top of the email "Gmail could not verify that it actually came from xxxx.gmail.com". I'm using Mail settings (not SMTP--SMT...

Re: Paypal issues

OMG ADD you are the MAN! Paypal was set to add sales tax. I changed that, then changed the mail settings to "Mail" instead of "SMTP" and it's working now. Strange, I originally had it set at "Mail" but since it didn't work had tried SMTP. Anyway, thank you so much, and thanks to all others who helpe...

Re: Paypal issues

For the PayPal problem. Did you check the IPN history. Login to PayPal and go to More > Sitemap > (Transactions) Instant Payment Notification (IPN) history. Look at your history to see if there are any messages and check the details, such as the URL and response code, which should be 200. Then try ...

Re: Paypal issues

Welp. Bluehost says everything on their end is ok. Had some guys trying to help me from the OpenCart end. Wonder if I should try a new Paypal account, or different PayPal extension? All of my orders are showing up as "Missing orders" so not showing directly on my Dashboard, not sending email notific...

Re: Paypal issues

I was unclear-- I had previously used 2.0 for a completely different store, different domain. Here is my error log (I'm also having issues with admin getting email notifications of orders) 2018-10-21 14:01:58 - PHP Warning: fsockopen(): Peer certificate CN=`*.bluehost.com' did not match expected CN=...

Paypal issues

Still testing out my site and getting frustrated. Paypal Standard worked yesterday, then last night did not work-- kept getting "We're sorry, things don't seem to be working at the moment," when trying to use a card to purchase. I disabled it, then enabled it and it seems to be working now. But when...

Re: email notifications to admin not working

Yes I have checked those options (in 3.0.2.0 those are in the "mail" tab and not "option" tab. When I have set as smtp, this is the error I get when I try to create a new account Warning: fsockopen(): Peer certificate CN=`*.bluehost.com' did not match expected CN=`smtp.gmail.com' in /home2/santeero/...

email notifications to admin not working

New customer can register or make an order and they get an email immediately. Admin does not receive email notification. Version 3.0.2.0 Tried using Mail settings, then SMTP settings and neither work. It's a Gmail address we are using. Set up SMTP settings according to this: https://medium.com/@BENJ...

Re: SSL after the fact... ugh

Since I can get into admin.... is there a way to copy all my products, then delete opencart and reinstall and then load my products back? Hate to do that but wondering if that's not the best solution.

Re: SSL after the fact... ugh

This thing has got me stumped.
May just blow it up and start over. Maybe go with Woocommerce or something different. Adding SSL shouldn't have destroyed this like it did.
I can get into admin. Weird.

Re: SSL after the fact... ugh

Ok I can get into admin now.... so I'm guessing my issue has to be with the config file and not the admin/config file?

Re: SSL after the fact... ugh

Made that change and now I'm getting this:

www.diggsfishing.com is currently unable to handle this request.

I get this when I try https://www.diggsfishing.com/store
or
https://www.diggsfishing.com/store/admin

My homepage www.diggsfishing.com comes up fine.
